Thesis 7: Christian Demonization & The 7 Holy and Unholy Spirits

This is Thesis 7 of the “End Times 95 Theses by The Two Witnesses of Revelation", a parallel of the work Martin Luther did hundreds of years ago. This thesis will expose the false doctrine which states Christians cannot be demonized. Here are the previous theses for reference, which I recommend are read in order:

Introduction: Many Spirits

There are many Christians with demons walking around, and in fact, I was once one of them. Of course, I will share this part of my testimony later in my post. First, I urge readers, that before they dismiss the claim that Christians can be demonized, please examine the evidence provided in this post and pray upon what is written here.

To start, I want to reference Derek Prince because he answered a question that aligns with this thesis: Can Christians have the Holy Spirit and Demons? He says, "Yes!"

If you do feel like watching the video, he summarizes an important fact: Christians can carry many spriits at once, and the Holy Spirit and demons can sometimes coexist.

First, he makes the point that if someone was expected to be perfect in order to encompass the Holy Spirit, then none of us would have the Holy Spirit, and little work for the Lord would ever get done! The Holy Spirit can dwell in a "dirty temple", and he cites David as an example of this, who begged the Holy Spirit "not to leave him" after he had murdered someone, according to Psalm 51:11:

Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
For the concordance translation:
51:11 Cast me not away 7993 8686 from thy presence 6440; and take 3947 8799 not thy holy 6944 spirit 7307 from me.

David understood that the Holy Spirit could leave him for his sins, but he asked the Holy Spirit to stay and to help him become re-sanctified.

Derek Prince then explains that there can be many spirits within a person, and a Christian with the Holy Spirit and a demon, or demons, can be the most difficult to help. Why is this?

Well, the Christian may continue to do wonderful actions for Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, but in a Jekyll and Hyde-esque fashion, they are always fighting something within themselves. This demonic spirit or force is battling this person on a daily basis, and this person is unaware because they still possess many fruits of the Holy Spirit. Further, this person may not believe a Christian can be demonized, so they are blinded, which makes it even more difficult to remove.

Before we begin, let me give some warnings to readers. I am not saying every Christian reading this has a demon, nor does every Christian need deliverance. However, I am saying that some readers reading this right now may have the Holy Spirit and a demon - if this makes you angry, you might want to consider that is a demon getting angry. My testimony toward the end of this thesis will showcase how I was able to live with both the Holy Spirit and some demons for many years, and what I had to do to eradicate the demons. I also want to note there may be different words used for demons, such as spirits or strongholds, but for the purpose of this post, I am going to say demons.

Still, just because Derek Prince says something does not make it so. We need to go back to Scripture and see if there is more proof showing a Christian can, in fact, be demonized. First, we will examine Scripture to answer the question: "Can Christians be demonized?" Then, we we will discuss the 7 Godly and ungodly spirits, and my own testimony as a formerly demonized Christian.

Can a Christian be Demonized?

For the purpose of this post, I am not focusing on full-blown demonic possession. In another thesis, we will get into this topic, but for the purpose of this post, we are not focusing on demonic possession for the sake of brevity.

In the meantime, we are asking a more simplified question - can a Christian be demonized on any level? For this thesis, I am definiing demonized as: a person who has demons or is influenced by them on some level.

First, one must understand that in Scripture, there is no place that says the Holy Spirit cannot present with evil. This is apparent in Galatians 5:17:

For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

This shows, at the very least, that even with the Holy Spirt, we may have "things" operating in us that go against it, and we end up doing things we do not want to do. Now, this may not necessarily indicate demons, but it can.

Going further, at one point, it appears that Peter was temporarily demonized, as the following scenario indicates in Matthew 16:22-23

22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”
23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Here is what one commentary states:

"Peter did the speaking, but Jesus spoke directly to Satan, naming him as the source of Peter's outburst against God's will that Jesus should suffer and die. Without Peter's recognizing it, he permitted himself to be a conduit for Satan's will. The disciple's "good" intention was against God's will, and Jesus thus judged it to be evil."

In Luke 13:11-13, Jesus releases a woman from a "spirit of infirmity", and she was "laid straight", and proceeded to glorify God:

11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

The fact that she immediately glorified God shows that Holy Spirit likely was already within her - she was just being held back by the spirit of infirmity. That is likely for many reading. Perhaps the ability to glorify God is within you, but you are being held back by a spirit, whether it be infirmity or something else, so you can "lay straight." Just to note, the use of the word "spirit" can be defined as demonization_._

This next passage in Acts 5:1-11 indicates that a man has the Holy Spirit but allows Satan to deceive his heart:

5 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

Ananias had the Holy Spirit, yes, but he allowed Satan to fill his heart, showing that he was demonized when he lied. Satan, after all, is the ultimate demonic force, isn't he?

Another example includes Simon, who was baptized with the Holy Spirit, was temporarily demonized, and then repented. Then there is the case of Christian believers dealing with sexual immorality, in which they are rebuked.

These cases show that Christians with the Holy Spirit can be demonized, or Satan himself can even work through them!

If Christians can allow Satan to enter their temples, than surely they can allow demons to enter. In these end times, this is even more likely because we are living in pure evil. Chances are, many get baptized, and then, there is a battle waging because there are demons that have not yet left the temple, which I will illustrate in my testimony below.

The problem with all of this is that people have seen demonization depicted in movies or entertainment as people growling, murdering people, or participating in Satanic rituals.

Chances are, this full-blown demonic possession is not going to happen in Christians, but rather, there will be potential for demons to dwell in a Christian when they knowingly or unknowingly open themselves up to them. They may not harm or murder anyone, but there will be consequences.

The problem is that not all demons manifest as "evil" at first. In fact, entertainment has even glamorized demons, such as this show on Netflix (created by Matt Groening), where the demon (Luci) aids and helps a princess:

Witness 1 and I actually started watching this show, but we found it was too overtly evil to continue. It was clear what they were trying to do, and we have since repented. It was entertaining, but evil.

In our end times Babylonian society, many cannot discern demons because they operate in "helpful" ways. That is because even Satan disguises himself as a being of light, and demons, as imitators of Satan, can do the same.

In fact, some of these demons may even help you, make your life easier, or "protect" you from things. Demons want to stay in you, so they not likely to escalate immediately to full-blown demonic possesion most of the time. For example, they may make it easier for you to get drugs and stay out of trouble while doing them. I once read a testimony where a demon told a man exactly where to find drugs in the middle of a forest!

They may tell you sweet words to help you justify your sins. "Weed isn't really that bad, is it?" They may even appear to be "friends" to you, and many people even call demons their friends.

Digging deeper, double-mindedness is an indicator that a Christian is operating with an "unholy" spirit or demon. This creates an "instability" of mind, such as the Jekyll and Hyde scenaio I noted earlier, where two or more spirits are competing against each other in one's own body or mind. This explains why many Christians may appear kind and nice on the surface, and then a moment later, commit adultery, start gossiping, or commit some other sin. We see it all the time in Christianity, as demons often manifest as hypocrisy.

So, shall we proclaim these Christians know nothing of the Holy Spiirt? No - it's more likely they are allowing evil spirits into their temple, and then a spiritual battle rages. There can be many kind, helpful Christians around you who may have spirits of anger, lust, envy, or something else within their bodily temples

So, when do we know it is demonization? If one temporarily falls into sin - no, I do not think this is automatically demonization. Even the best of us make mistakes here and there, and demonization may not immediately occur (though it still could).

However, when one cannot stop sinning, even with other fruits of the Holy Spirit, I believe, then it is possible, that a Christian is demonized. Generally speaking, one will see this manifest as double-mindedness in Christians. This double-minded Christian is unstable in all ways.

For the next section, let us explore the kind of spirits that can demonize a Christian.

The 7 Holy and Unholy Spirits

Since we are made in God's image, then we will be reflections of Him on some level. Considering there are 7 spirits of Christ, then likely, there are 7 anti-Christ spirits that can operate in people.

First, if someone is operating in the Spirit of the Lord, then they will likely manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit:

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…”

However, if someone is operating with the Spirit of Satan, they continually combat the fruits of the Holy Spirit. For example, whenever I am operating fully in the Lord, many cruel and evil people approach me or send me emails. I believe sometimes, Satan himself, is working through these people! REPENT!

Next, the Spirit of Wisdom is not easy to come by, and the Bible says that we must work for it. So, it is easy to fall into a spirit of ignorance and make foolish decisions because obtaining wisdom takes hard work. Many simply do not want to work hard for wisdom, so that is when you see many give into their "itching ears" and false spirits in these end times.

Moving on, God creates the spirit of understanding, but Satan's spirits and demons always create confusion and chaos. As the Satanists like to say, "Order out of chaos," showing they operate fully in this Satanic spirit. All confusion and chaos come from Satan. Many do not have a spirit of understanding, but rather, they have spirits of conflict, division, and argument. They are the ones going into churches causing petty quarrels and dividing congregations. We meet many readers with an argumentative spirit, which is damaging to the body of Christ. Instead of looking for understanding with their fellow Christians, they are at war with them.

As Christians we are powerful, and we have power to trample over snakes and scorpions (and reptilians), but Satan makes us feel weak, defeated, and discouraged. This evil spirit of weakness can manifest as spirits of depression, sloth, laziness, anxiety, and many other "psychological" conditions. They are weakening spirits.

Moreover, we are supposed to be showing ourselves approved through Scriptural knowledge, but many spend their time participating in foolishness; perhaps they are continually making bad decisions, or they are wasting their lives away doing something they shouldn't be doing, such as playing hours of video games while getting high or drunk. This spirit often tries to justify sin or tries to get people to "ignore" their sins, manifesting as an "ignorant" spirit.

Finally, we are supposed to have a healthy fear of the Lord, but the Apostate, or apathetic, spirit believes that God has no wrath - that God will allow anything and everything to continue and there will be no judgment upon them. This is certainly the spirit of these end times!

Of course, there are thousands upon thousands of demons, and I believe the Bible doesn't name them because there is no point in giving power to them. There are demons of fear and demons of lust. There are demons of pride and demons of infirmity. There is a demon for just about everything negative out there. In other words, you name it, and there is probably a demon for it. In fact, when I was a little girl, I bought a book called "The Demon Bible", and though that was not a good choice, at least I was aware that demons existed. I give no power to these demons, but God has given me permission to post a list for people to view, but this isn't even all of them. We take NO respsoniblity for anyone who is stupid enough to invite demons into their lives. Pray before clicking anything, and be wise.

I randomly clicked on one that aids in singing ability. So again, these demons can give people gifts, talents, and even seem helpful! That is what is so dangerous about them. Many wordlly and new age people think they are "good spirits" or "helpers" or "fairies", and they can seem really positive. They may never come to an understanding of why they are bad because their true nature is not revealed.

So, what a person can do to determine if there is a potential for demonization in oneself is to look at the 7 spirits chart above and see if any of these spirits, good or bad, are operating in you. For example, are you constantly starting fights with people or making foolish decisions? Are you apathetic or slothful? Are you riddled with anxiety and fear? You may need some type of deliverance.

As always, I am not judging anyone, and that is why I want to share my testimony in order to help some readers struggling with demonization. Still, even if you do not think you have demons, if you are still sinning, there are strongholds that may need to leave your life.

My Own Demonization - Part 1

I was baptized in water and the Holy Spirit many years ago. For evidence that I was baptized with the Holy Spirit, I can speak in tongues. I know not everyone with the Holy Spirit can speak in tongues, but I am using this as evidence that I have the Holy Spirit, and I have had it for a while.

After I gained the ability to speak in tongues, my entire life changed. I started to lead a much holier life than previously, and I was drawing closer to God each day, praying, fasting, and glorifying Him.

Still, in the back of my mind, I always, always wanted to have an alcoholic drink. It seemed no matter how sinless I was, no matter how much I loved God, there was a nagging voice that told me to go drink.

I now understand that this was an actual demon that had not yet been removed from my body. This was a demon that entered me in my early 20s, which you can read more about here.

Most of the time I ignored this voice. Still, every day I would pray, and I would think, "Ok, one day, I will be able to drink again." The fact that I was always waiting to sin again shows that I had not yet conquered this demon.

Now, I want you to reflect on the sin that is holding you back. Does it feel like an actual, nagging voice in your mind? That might actually be a demon.

I understand the controversy here. Nobody wants to hear they might have some level of demonization, but consider it.

This went beyond just temptation for me. In fact, it went so beyond it that from this nagging voice, though I had the Holy Spirit, I decided to go out and drink. As I was buying the bottle of liquor at the liquor store, a man approached me and said, "If you get this drink, it will only get worse from here."

I ignored the warnings from the Holy Spirit in myself, and even the Holy Spirit manifesting in others!

The consequences of this were, at the time, devastating. I almost lost everything, and when I sobered up, I still had my Holy Spirit - it had not left me. I felt like David after he had murdered the man.

I got down on my knees and told God, "I will never drink again. I am so sorry I allowed this evil spirit to control me."

Somehow, the demon left that day. I think, when I almost lost everything due to my choices, I did not see the demon as my friend anymore.

You see, I actually considered alcohol my friend for many, many years. I did not say the word "friend", but that is how I treated it. The day I almost lost everything due to alcohol is the day I finally saw it for the demon it was.

For many readers, you are still treating your demon as your friend. One reader recently said to me, "Weed has always been there for me." So, what can I do until this person sees that this drug is actually a demon? I am praying for them. If they see this, I ask them not to get mad, but they might.

You see, many of us treat our demons like our friends. That's what I was doing. Because I had gotten away with so much during drinking, I thought just one more time wouldn't hurt anything, and my "friend" would protect me.

Unfortunately, these demons are always aiming to lead you to your destruction, so if they have to act like your friend at first, that's what they will do.

God had mercy on me, but He disciplined me. Through this, I believe I finally let go of the demon myself - I was the one hanging on to it.

Going back to before my consequences, I was living a life MOSTLY full of the Holy Spirit, but there was that demonic force taunting me at every turn.

Now, most of you probably do not want to have to get to the point I did to get rid of your demons, so let me share the next part of my testimony to help you understand how you can get rid of some demons in less severe ways.

My Own Demonization - Part 2

I have never drank since then, and I never will again. The demon is gone. However, I had some other demonic forces that still had to leave.

One was anger or a spirit of wrath.

I started fasting years ago, and God has accelerated this process for me. It has been one of the most important things I have done as a Christian, and it is how I am able to continue to do this website despite the constant spiritual battle to stop us from doing this work. One day, Jesus told me to fast longer than usual, and on this day, I was at work.

When I was doing this specific fast, something felt really wrong with me. I was having difficulty focusing at work because I was so incredibly angry. I didn't understand how I could be so angry - it felt unnatural.

I went to the corner of my office, and I asked God, "How do I get rid of this anger?"

He revealed to me that it was an actual spirit that needed to leave me. I once read that spirits can leave through many means - throwing up, screaming, even crying, so I prayed to cry and release it through my tears.

I went into the corner, and I started crying. It felt as though something was lifted out of me, and I felt relieved.

After struggling with that demon all day and much of my life, I felt back to normal.

Since then, though I have moments of anger, it is nothing like the wrath I had experienced in the past, and it does not lead me to sin.

So, then, what do you do, as a reader, if you suspect you have demons?

While there may be opportunities to be delivered by other Christians, I find this incredibly rare in these end times. For one, many Christians are operating with demons themselves, and secondly, many do not even know how to do deliverance or have the patience for it. If you have no one to deliver you, your best option is to fast.

So, if you fast, and you are sincere in your fast, God can release you from many things. However, this requires discipline and sacrifice, which many are not willing to do. In fact, your demons may be stopping you from fasting!

It is clear that some demons can only leave us by prayer AND fasting.

Just to note, I have delivered people from demons, and I am willing to do an anonymous phone call with you, if you want to do this. However, expect it to take hours and be tiring. It's worth it though, so contact us if interested.

Going back to the point, everyone has the power to remove their own demons, but they must decide they want to sacrifice a bit. It might take fasting for not just a day but a few weeks for this to happen! Even months. So, you have to be willing to persevere and sacrifice, and then Jesus will bless you. Feel free to join our fast if you need some inspiration to fast. You can fast for yourself to remove demons

So, if you have no one to deliver you, then you only have one option - prayer and fasting.

It is difficult but worth it.

Conclusion

The claim that Christians cannot be demonized has been detrimental to the body of Christ. Churches are no longer casting out demons, and many are full of unclean spirits inhibiting their walk with God, and the work He has called them to do.

To me, it does not really matter if you use the word "demon." Chances are, many of our readers are operating with demons inside of them, but they refer to these as "strongholds" or "unrepentant sin" or something else.

When you ask the question, "Why do I have the Holy Spirit but I cannot seem to fully operate in it?" The answer may be, "There is a demonic force working against you."

Not everything is because of demons, and I understand there are some false ministries that make money off of this concept. That is not our motive. If you want me to attempt to remove demons from you, I will, and I won't charge you anything!

Of course, some people are just a**holes, and they don't have any demons at all. If this is you, you still need to repent.

Whatever the case, there will be no harm in taking up a prayer and fasting schedule to help eliminate things in your bodily temple that need to go. Let me say a prayer for all.
