The Modern Unholy Church: Without Truth, There is No Holiness

We have addressed the rotten root, vine, branch, and fruits of the modern end times church. In the previous theses, we have discussed how this type of church produces unholiness, but that leads to the question, what exactly is holiness and how do we become holy?

Introduction: Without Truth, There is No Holiness

Because the modern church is not walking in full truth, it cannot be holy. Before I explain how the modern church is not walking in total truth, let us first examine Jesus Christ as truth and “the burden” associated with His truth. First, let us all agree that Jesus Christ is the truth. If you follow Him and obey Him correctly and fully, you are living in truth. John 14:6 states,

“6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

We can conclude, then, if one is not living in truth as much as possible, then it is nearly impossible to walk with Jesus Christ.

That is also true of the church.

Have you noticed most churches in modern times are stagnant, dull, and fruitless? It feels as if there is no movement or growth in most churches anymore. In fact, churches today are largely dying.

Why is this happening?

Churches today are limiting the full truth, and they are not making changes. Because they cannot be honest with people about the truth of what is happening in the world, people are leaving. Who wants to sit in a church pew listening to the same lecture on Moses over and over? Some stay for the milk, but many have left because the meat is not available.

Because of limitations on truth, churches cannot grow or produce true fruit. Here are the ways truth is being limited or even hidden in the modern church.

Censorship

Let's start with a question: Would your church preach a sermon about the true Synagogue of Satan, the truth behind 9/11, the shape of the Earth, or even vaccines?

If the answer is no, then there lies the problem.

One might say, “Well, we should not get involved in political issues at church,” but I believe that is a copout.

When it comes to truth - there are no “categories.” When we are seeking the truth, we might get caught up in various domains. That is why, on this blog, one will find all sorts of topics - from politics to science. That is because the truth is not limited by man-made categories. In fact, many of these categories were put in place to put a limitation on truth.

Before readers click out of this post, I am not saying the Earth is round or flat (but you can email me for my opinions), but shouldn’t your church be allowed to discuss this? I am not saying everyone has to agree the vaccine is the mark, but shouldn’t your church be allowed to discuss this? I am saying Trump is the anti-Christ, and people can disagree, but shouldn't your church be allowed to discuss this, as well?

Are any churches talking about anything real at all anymore, or are their sermons completely disconnected from reality?

That is why you are on this blog right now. You are seeking the truth!

When even a small part of the truth is limited or hidden, it is no longer the truth. It is difficult for people to understand this, so let me explain further.

This is called lying by omission, and censoring or removing a part ot the truth is a form of lying.

What churches today have done is put holds and limitations on what can be discussed, and because of this, they can no longer walk in the truth. Censorship is a form of limiting the truth, and most churches censor information. To note, if you go to church, I understand you may have various reasons, I am not saying you have to stop. Still, I want readers to consider all of this information.

Churches have become censored institutions, where only the popular, wordly version of the Bible is allowed - nothing else. Because of the censorship of truth, the people in modern churches are in chains!

Yes, they are in actual chains. Really, think about the people who are going to most churches today. Are they free, or are they bound by the version of the truth their church provides? How many churches led their members to take an abomination, the vaccine, for example? How many chuches spoke out against lockdowns? How many churches have even questioned Trump and his intentions? How many have questioned what is going on in Israel and whether one should support "Zionism?"

Very few.

Going back to the truth, the truth sets you free. Jesus says "My burden is light," and His burden is the truth. In Matthew 11:28-30, He says:

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

When you find Jesus, what you find is the truth. This is His burden.

Doesn't this sound like an oxymoron, at first? Burden, usually, has a negative connotation. It is associated with something heavy - something one must carry around.

Well, at first, the truth seems like a burden, but with Jesus Christ, it becomes light!

For many reading, you can handle the truth because of Jesus Christ. It is not a burden to you. You have faced many painful and uncomfortable truths, and you are free. You are lighter, and the act of following Jesus is not a burden to you. You are free because of the truth.

In the church, since full truth cannot be spoken, people are imprisoned by a false light, which is actually a heaven burden. Following this false light will lead many to hell. The burden of Satan is heavy, though it seems light. The burden of Jesus is light, though it seems heavy at first.

If one cannot openly discuss any type of truth in the church, then it isn't a true church. If you can't walk into a church, show them the evidence on the dangers of vaccines, and have people openly and fairly discuss this with you, then they are not walking in truth.

Could you walk into your church and talk about the vaccines in any true way? Really, what can you say to your church? Anything?

So, right now, most churches are deceived. They cannot grow or improve because they cannot dicuss the truth. They can only recite the "milk" and tell people "Don't worry - Be Happy. It's not really the end times. Now pay your tithes!", which leads into my next point.

Appeal to Authority

One of the largest problems in churches today is that Jesus Christ is no longer the top authority. Sure, you may hear the preachers say His name, but do they really, truly follow Him and what He wants?

The next problem is everyone thinks they are a preacher now. With the internet, every single person believes they were called by God to speak. This isn't so.

Many have false authority and just want attention, both online and in real churches.

Some people were called to speak, and they have one of the most important jobs out there:

Titus 1:9 NIV
He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

The problem is that most do not question the authority of the church. Most treat their pastors as gods, and they have replaced the authority of Jesus Christ with men.

When my friend took the vaccine, she wrote me an email that said, "99% of the best and well-known pastors would agree that this is not the mark of the beast." This was after she found out I thought it was the mark.

That is true, but what she did not realize is that she was falling into the logical fallacy of "appealing to authority." It didn't matter to me that 99% of pastors agreed on something. That doesn't mean it is the truth.

That is what has happened to many - they have fallen into the appeal of authortiy. In fact, many people in emails to us will say, "But this pastor said this" or "This pastor online says this" or even "Q says this." Our response: Ok? The Bible says this.

In this way, the truth is limited in modern churches. The pastors have become like gods, worshipped and obeyed.

Gossip/Cliques/Selfish Ambition

According to 2 Corinthians 12:20,

20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.

All of these things are happening in the modern church.

Because of these detestable things, truth is limited.

For example, how can one fully be themselves in a church or walk in truth, if they are afraid others will gossip about them when they confess their sins? How can anyone walk into a church and be themselves fully if they are afraid people will gossip about them in general?

Churches have become a social club. At the last church I went to, a mega-church, I noticed how much effort was put into how the women dress. As a woman, though I dress well, I could tell I was already separated, in a way. I felt like I was in high school again - like it was so apparent who was with who, and who I could associate with, as well, based on my dress.

Then, many are just there for their own selfish ambitiion. They do the "nice work" because they want accolades and attention, or they want social upheaval.

All fo this limits the truth. All of this limits a member's walk with Jesus Christ.

When people become more concerned about the gossip or cliques at a church, then it's not really a church that serves Jesus Christ. This becomes the church of Babylon.

All of these characteristics lead to a limitation of truth in the church. This produces unholiness because truth is holiness.

Jesus Christ is Truth. Jesus Christ is Holy. The Truth is Holy.

Let us expand upon this in the next section.

What then is Holiness?

Many have reduced Christianity to "not sinning." In fact, in most churches today, there may be talk of not sinning but almost none talk of living a holy life.

In my previous theses, I have written that mediocrity or the bare minimum may not get people into Heaven. Reducing Christianity to just "not sinning" is mediocre and leading many astray. In fact, Christanity should be about leading a holy life, which takes spiritual disciplilne.

Becoming holy is not a mediocre task. In fact, it is the most difficult walk one may ever choose to walk. Still, through Jesus Christ it is possible, and remember His burden is light if one can face the truth.

So, before we define holiness, let us examine some important verses:

1) Holiness is not automatic (Romans 6:22)

22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Not sinning leads to holiness, which leads to eternal life. However, not sinning does not automatically make one holy, but it will lead you there.

2) Holiness is about Purification (2 Corinthians 7:1)

1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Note here that holiness is not just about not sinning. We need to cleanse ourselves from filthiness in our lives, which can come in various forms.

For example, it may not be a sin to watch a certain movie, but should we?

Remember, I am not a legalist, and that will be part of one of the 95 theses. We have freedom in Christ, but we should examine what we do and if it is "filthy" or not.

3) God is holy, so we are called to be holy (1 Peter 1:15-16)

15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;
16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

If we do not know how to be holy, we must look to Jesus Christ. He is HOLINESS! He is holiness defined. We do what Jesus does, and we emulate Him.

4) Living Sacrifice = Holiness (Romans 12:1)

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Jesus Christ is sacrifice. To emulate Him, we must also be a living sacrifice, which is holy and pleasing to the Lord.

To sacrifice is true worship. I have written about becoming a servant like Christ all throughout this blog.

5) Be Blameless in order to be holy (Ephesians 5:3)

3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

Not even a hint. Not even a hint.

Do you hear churches speaking about holiness? I do not.

Now, let's go back to defining holiness. Here is the definition I have formulated through the Holy Spirit.

Holiness = The Love of Truth and True Love through Jesus Christ

In order to follow Jesus Christ, one must follow the truth in every form. One must seek the truth, even when it is painful. For many, during the past few years, they have closed their ears and eyes to the truth. Instead of asking Jesus Christ to help them handle the truth, they closed it off. They chose a different version of the truth, a false light, and now they are walking straight to hell if they do not change their ways.

One must love truth to follow Jesus Christ - in all forms.

So, let's look at some scenarios.

When I was drinking, was I able to operate in the truth? No, I was living lies through alcohol, especially because alcohol put me in an altered state. This is the same for heavy use of marijuana, medications, etc. Now, I am NOT telling readers what to do or what not to do. The Bible is clear one can drink in moderation, for example. One can decide if medications are right for them.

However, when one is in a completely altered state, as much of Babylon is, how can they be in the truth?

For a few months, I actually tried out an anti-anxiety pill (this was a while ago). I seriously felt like I was completely happy and had no ability to be sad. It was actually creepy. I realized I could easily get hooked on this pill, tapered, and I never took it again.

I thought, "Oh, my, I am working with people on pills like this. No wonder they don't care about anything!" I now understand why many people just seem to be in a zombie-like daze. They may not be high or drunk, but they are definitely medicated. I can see why so many easily walk in unholiness when they are not even in reality.

Again, I am not saying one cannot take medications. I am saying that if we are living our lives in an altered state of any sort, whether through drugs, video games, sex, or something else, we are not living in the truth. Being sober-minded is not just about alcohol, after all.

Let's give another example. If one is constantly depressed or lets a mental disorder define them, they are no longer in the truth. I know this viewpoint will not be popular.

There are discouraging spirits that some can idolize, such as misery, unforgiveness, depression, anxiety, etc.

What happens is that when a person allows these emotions, spirits, or feelings to become his/her idol is that they can no longer operate in the truth because they are only seeing the world through this false lens.

It's the truth the other way around, too. There is a false happiness that many Christians embrace that is not true. It is a "fake" happiness we often see at churches, where people are always smiling but somehow never mourning. This is they type of happiness I felt on that pill. It wasn't reality.

Again, let me make myself clear here. I am NOT saying one cannot mourn or be sorrowful. I am not saying one cannot be happy. I am saying that when one is encompassed by one emotion and one emotion only, this becomes an untrue view of the world.

We are to see the world as it truly is - not paint it with rainbows but also not deny its beauty when it is there. In my next thesis, I will dive deeper into how Jesus helped me come to live in reality, without drugs or any worldly help.

Of course, I do admit we are closer to hell with each passing day in these end times, and we should be more sorrowful and mournful than perhaps in past times, but these emotions should not become us.

I understand many readers may struggle with depression or anxiety, and soon I will be writing on how to overcome these things, but that is for another post. Do not take what I write as a criticism, but rather, pray to God and reflect on whether what I write is rooted in truth.

There are other ways people do not operate in full truth. Take any scenario, and we can examine if a person is in full truth. For example, if a woman wears so much make-up that she no longer looks like who God intended her to be, and she deceives men, is she living in truth? If a man marries a wife but constantly looks at other woman, is he living in full truth?

We could do this all day.

Holiness is about living in truth, no matter what scenario, from not lying to not viewing abominable things to presenting a truthful version of yourself to the world.

Is this easy? No. But the more I started living in truth, the better my life became.

What has happened is the church is no longer the face of truth. The church is unholy because it is fake. When you walk in, it is fake. Fake smiles. Fake worship. Fake. Fake. Fake!

In the same way, many Christians are fake. They smile at you, but then gossip behind your back. This is unholy.

The modern church is unholy because it is not in the truth, and it has produced the unholy Christian who is not in the truth - the one who gossips about you or lives a double-minded life, for example.

Still, there is one final note about holiness. It is never to be without love. Truth is always to be told in love. Truth is always to be practiced in love. Jesus Christ is love.

Now, remember, love isn't "do what thou wilt" and accept everything. Love requires, at times, a rebuke or discipline. But it also has mercy and grace.

There is this false version of love that has encompassed the church, and it is not holy. This love is without discipline or boundaries. In fact, that is what one of my next theses is going to be about.

So, today, let us strive to be holy by walking in truth and in love. Let us strive to be holy by obeying Jesus Christ and emulating Him. Let us strive to be holy by not only avoiding sin but striving to blameless before the Lord.

Conclusion: Ezekiel 33

To wrap up this post, I believe this ministry, thus far, can be summarized with key verses in Ezekiel 33.

Renewal of Ezekiel’s Call as Watchman

33 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, 3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. 5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’

This ministry has been sounding the trumpet. Do you hear? Have you heeded the warning?

7 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 8 When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for[a] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 9 But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.

This ministry has called people to turn away from their sins. Are you answering this call?

10 “Son of man, say to the Israelites, ‘This is what you are saying: “Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of[b] them. How then can we live?”’ 11 Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’

Do you hear? Why will you die?!

12 “Therefore, son of man, say to your people, ‘If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous.’ 13 If I tell a righteous person that they will surely live, but then they trust in their righteousness and do evil, none of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered; they will die for the evil they have done. 14 And if I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ but they then turn away from their sin and do what is just and right— 15 if they give back what they took in pledge for a loan, return what they have stolen, follow the decrees that give life, and do no evil—that person will surely live; they will not die. 16 None of the sins that person has committed will be remembered against them. They have done what is just and right; they will surely live.

No once saved, always saved, everyone! Remember, we have Jesus Christ now, so that we can plead the blood of Jesus if we do fall into sin.

17 “Yet your people say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just. 18 If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, they will die for it. 19 And if a wicked person turns away from their wickedness and does what is just and right, they will live by doing so. 20 Yet you Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But I will judge each of you according to your own ways.”

The Lord is Just. Do not go over a false Jesus who does not tell you to live holy or that you can do whatever you want and be saved by grace. This is NOT the God of the Bible.
