Hearing God's Voice: Reader Compilation and Appreciation Post

Introduction

Before I started writing this post, I prayed, “Dear God, please help me write this. I think I am going to call it 'Hearing the Voice of God', and I heard, “I will help you.”

Now, was that the voice of God or something else? Today, we are going to be exploring “hearing voices”, and I want to explain that everyone here reading likely hears some voice. Yes, of course, most people have an inner monologue; however, according to the linked article, there are some people who do not have an inner monologue at all. I am going to bet that most who stumble upon this blog have some type of inner voice.

There have been many studies done that show there are people who do not have an inner voice, which is honestly so unusual to me that I cannot understand it. There is debate on whether or not these people with no internal monologues are NPC figures, yet I did read a post from a woman on Reddit that explained she found out she had no internal monologue, and then, slowly, she developed one. Of course, I can’t find it now, but I believe the point is clear: most reading will have some type of inner voice happening in their mind, even as they read this, and if you don't have an inner voice, I would be surprised if you found this blog.

Now, the question is, can you hear God’s voice? Jesus says His sheep will hear His voice. How does one know if they can hear the voice of Jesus?

Well, to start, we are going to explain what the voice of God is NOT. Defining things by what they are not, a process called defining by negation, is helpful when defining something so powerful like hearing God’s actual voice. In the next section, I will do my best to define what God’s voice is, but I will often provide examples of what God’s voice is not.

Overcoming Ungodly Voices

Before you think that you couldn’t possibly be hearing demonic voices, I would ask, do you ever sink into unusual depressions even when things are generally going well? Do you ever hear a voice say, “You are not good enough” or some other type of similar criticism?

God would never say these things to you, so these words are NOT from God. Yes, God can discipline and offer a critical voice if necessary, but it is never manipulative or hopeless. God’s voice is always underlined with hope, even when speaking of devastation. For example, in Zechariah, there is much prophecy of destruction, but hope is given to "the daughter of Zion" at the end, and she is told to rejoice.

Not only that, but the words of the spirit are always helpful; whereas, the words of the flesh are no help at all, according to John 6:63.

  • 63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[a] and life.

Sometimes, when I am not getting along with Witness 1, I will go to pray. God will tell me, “Just be quiet. I have told you this many times.” You see, whenever I am struggling with my temper, I don’t think before I speak, especially to Witness 1. So, I listen to God’s advice, I go back in and just be quiet, and Witness 1 always comes to me and tries to make amends. Notice, God is telling me the truth - the truth I don’t really want to hear. He is telling me I need to learn to tame my voice, which doesn’t feel good at first. However, He is right, and if I just listen to Him, then I am successful. There are times I haven't listened to Him, unfortunately. Sorry, Witness 1. : )

So, God isn’t always going to sugarcoat things. Jesus certainly didn’t! In our overly offended society, I can see why people immediately cancel out God’s voice, even if they have an opportunity to hear it.

God’s voice is true, and therefore, it may feel harsh at times. However, it helps you if you follow it.

So, to go along with that, God would not say something like, “You’re just a loser, Witness 2 - you will never amount to anything.” His voice is helpful - not depleting or denigrating - so if you are hearing words like that, chances are you are being influenced by demonic forces.

Christians do not like hearing that possibility. Whenever I bring it up to most in real life, they shut me out. I once told a guy who couldn’t stop masturbating to porn that perhaps he was influenced by demons. He replied, “Christians cannot be demonically possessed.”

Whatever you believe about that, Christians can be demonically influenced, and if you deny this possibility, you are doing yourself a lot of harm. Here is an interesting study on the controversy of it, if you really want to do some deep thinking.

Now, I do want to note one thing about the modern charismatic movement. They are telling you that God’s voice is always positive, and that is another dangerous thought process!

That is not aligned to the truth. If you read the Bible, God’s voice is not always positive. Sometimes it is full of warnings given to prophets that are far from comforting. Still, this voice is helpful, as it is giving a warning for people to repent and turn around. So, again, if you hear the truthful voice of God, it will always be helpful.

  • “You need to stop drinking, Witness 2.” That’s helpful! (And I did)
  • “You need to tame your voice, Witness 2.” That’s helpful! (And I am)
  • “You did a good job running the meeting today, Witness 2.” That’s helpful. (Aww, thank you, Jesus!)

Those are examples of real things that God has said to me. They aren’t always what I want to hear, but they are always helpful.

However, the modern lukewarm church will tell you that God is just always happy and full of sunshine, and that He is always telling you how much He loves you every second.

Is this helpful? No. It isn’t. In fact, it is hurtful and from a false spirit because this voice never calls a person to repentance, which is one of the most dangerous things to ignore. This leads to pride, and that is the sin of the modern church.

So, anyway, I often get emails from people who are telling me they are constantly hearing negative voices. Again, these voices can say different things. They know how to discourage you. They may say things like, “Why can’t you get a job?” or “No one could like you.” Every single person reading this has likely heard a voice like that.

Chances are, if your inner monologue is ONLY these voices, you might want to seriously consider that you have a demon or demonic forces strongly influencing you. I will talk more about modern forces like 5G influencing you in a later section, but for now I want to talk about mental illnesses like schizophrenia.

In this documentary from a doctor whistleblower (Jerry Marzinsky) he explains that people with “mental illness” like schizophrenia are actually demon influenced or even demon possessed. I highly recommend watching this video, as it gives such a different view on what people normally think of as mental illness caused by physical issues in the brain.

One thing that he notes that is strange about the voices the people hear is that they are always consistently negative. They are NEVER positive. You can find more on his website, but Marzinsky writes:

  • Now if they were hallucinations, wouldn't they be random as hallucinations are, some negative, some positive, some total nonsense and everything in between, as individual as the person experiencing them? But according to the hundreds of schizophrenic patients I've worked with over 35 years, the voices are anything but random. They are constantly negative, abusive, derogatory, nasty, insulting, and demeaning, ALWAYS. If you have a family member who is suffering from schizophrenia, ask them for yourselves.

So, you may not be suffering from full-blown schizophrenia, but you may be able to relate to these experiences.

The only way to overcome these voices is through the power of Jesus Christ, and unfortunately, it isn’t always an easy battle.

A little over a month ago, I published a testimony from Garrett about overcoming demonic voices. He is doing great, and he has recently been baptized. All glory to God. The angels are rejoicing!

I asked him recently if he could update us on how he is doing, and here is the next part of his testimony.

Garrett’s Update Testimony

In March of 2023, I became possessed by a demon that I believe was brought upon me by dark magic. It happened suddenly, after I uttered the phrase “I don't want to be on this Earth anymore" while I was in an argument with my mom and dad. I said it twice. That is when it all began.

Commentary from Witness 2: Remember, our words can bring life or death. Be careful what you say to yourself on a daily basis. Your words have power, as Garrett found out!

The first thing I noticed was a sudden feeling of "enlightenment" on the first day. That's when I first started to engage the voices. I asked them things like, "If you are real, manifest yourself now," and they surprisingly DID manifest. I believe they choose how to manifest so that they don't scare all of us. They manifested to me as a circle with points where the "corners'' would be. From that point forward, I followed almost all of what they told me.

On the second day, they began to convince me that they were the good ones and that I was much more important than I really am. Keep in mind, even though they tried to come across as "good," most of what they said was negative. They began to convince me that I was EXTREMELY powerful in a way I didn't understand, and that if I just needed to hold on a little longer I would unlock my "true power" (this true power never ended up manifesting). However, I was so enthralled by their words that I truly trusted what they were saying to me. The most important thing at this point was that Jesus began being injected into my head as well. Why? I don't know, but something began whispering of Jesus and his gospel into my head.

Commentary from Witness 2: Garrett described this feeling as an “angel/devil” on his shoulder, which is common in bipolar disorders. Note, a psychiatrist may never actually tell you that an actual spiritual battle is going on in your mind when you are diagnosed with a “mental illness.” I am not saying mental illnesses are not real; however, we must first recognize that nearly everything starts in the spiritual realm. Jesus was probably coming to help, but remember, there is powerful spiritual warfare raging in our minds daily. Garrett may have known Jesus at the time, but he was being deceived by these voices. Delusions of grandeur are not helpful. Note, that these delusions may seem positive at first, but they are not helpful, as they can make a person feel more special or important than they are, leading them to do foolish things. Remember, the voice of God is helpful and will not tell you lies or make you believe you are something you are not.

Shortly thereafter, the voices began to convince me that on a specific day, the world would end, and that's when my powers would present themselves. They also told me things like "You don't need clothes," which (embarrassingly) caused me to run around my house in the nude. This really happened. I am 6'3, 220 lbs, so I'm so thankful no one saw or tried to intervene because, as you'll later see, I DID have some sort of newfound power, but only for a moment.

One of the most difficult parts was the "auditory hallucinations" that began when the voices started to tell me I could have my first true love back if I listened to them.

Still nude, they told me if I could find evidence of her, and HIDE it, I could have her again (almost like a ritual, DO NOT perform rituals). Unfortunately, I did. I dug up an older yearbook and skimmed through the pages for almost half an hour (it seemed like there were more pages there for some reason) before I found her. I have a chest in my home, where my family puts pieces of their history. I didn't know this because I'd never even knew about it as it was hidden in a closet. It told me that my chest was there. I was told to put a picture of me and the yearbook on opposite sides of the chest and to lock it. This was considered step one.

Step two was the scariest. I was supposed to go to a doctor's appointment on this day, but something peculiar happened instead. The voice told me not to go. I didn't end up having a choice because the only road leading to my doctors office was (of course) CLOSED! Care to say coincidence? Because the voices sure are good at predicting what's going to happen! Instead, they convinced me to take a trip to a city I'd never been to before in order to "find her." Mind you, the voices also told me to leave my phone at home, so I had no navigation or way to call for help. I was doing this solo.

I started my journey from there, onto the freeway, and towards the city. It took me an hour and a half or so to get there. Once I began to get close, the voices got quiet...and I began to get scared. They told me that I truly knew where to go, so I just needed to find her. I ended up at two military checkpoints (thankfully they both turned me away without batting an eye) before I found, believe it or not, her exact make and model of car she used to have with the same Seahawks sticker on it. They said congratulations, you found it! To which I replied, "Now what?"

"Time to go home!" They replied. I was devastated. I thought this was the last test I had to go through in order to find my long-lost love. They told me that now I had to find someone to help me get home. It was then that I realized I was LOST.

I had next to no gas and no direction. First was the gas. I found a station in the middle of town and began to fill up. There was a group of guys filling up their truck who I was initially going to ask. The voices said no. Another kinder soul was coming (they did, coincidence?). I now had a full tank of gas and directions on where to go. I was terrified (I don't typically go out of my comfort zone to drive long distances, especially without phone directions). However, just as the guy had said, all I had to do was go east. The voice said, "See, don't you trust us?", as if it were human. Never trust it. It is not there to help you. For some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about Christ at this point. It felt safer to think about him rather than the voice. This caused anger.

When I arrived home, I was no longer allowed to eat, drink, or speak. I sat on my couch for HOURS just being forced to listen. Finally, my mom had to call the ambulance for me because I wouldn't even move.

I finally woke back up in the hospital, but it wasn't over yet. The voices told me it was finally time to unleash my power. I got up from my bed and rushed the staff. It took (and I am not kidding) FOUR MEN to hold me down. I could still stand with them, climbing on me, trying to hold me down. I blacked out again.

When I woke up, the voices were gone, but Christ was the only thing resonating in my head. Now, I only heard things very quietly in the next months afterward, but I very recently was baptized. I swear, there are no more voices. They are gone, completely. I feel exactly as I did beforehand. I feel born again in the most literal sense. I implore you all who are hearing "voices" - GET BAPTIZED.

Witness 2 Commentary: For those missing a little bit of the story, Garrett emailed us and I explained that in order to conquer the voices, he could simply say, “I cast you out in Jesus’s name.” It is so simple, but that is exactly what he did, over and over, which you can read more about here. Now, he is doing great, and he ended his testimony with how Jesus Christ helped him overcome:

Well, first, it started with finding you guys! (Shameless plug, I know), but in all seriousness, I was a LeVeyan satanic follower for a long time. I "worshipped" people rather than Christ. After becoming faithful and learning about things like fasting, I've felt nothing but happiness and kindness in my heart. I actually have dreams again! (And a lot of them have actual meaning, not just random crap). I don't need nicotine anymore, or weed, or even "self-gratitude." I feel like I have a purpose again, which I never felt when I was lost in the worship of people. I know I still have much to learn, but even just being baptized opened up my eyes to just how REAL His word is, and how important it is to live your life to its fullest potential while being able to resonate with his word. His word is love, grace, and happiness for all those who want to open their hearts and open their minds back up to him. He will let you in if you truly allow his light to be cast into you.

Garrett honestly is walking with Jesus Christ, as I speak to him often! We have become friends, and one thing I really appreciate is his willingness to share his testimonies.

Everyone reading, if you have a testimony, share it! That is your VOICE that can help so many people out there. People often email me that the most powerful thing they read on this site is the voices of real people. It makes them feel less alone.

Also, do not be ashamed of your struggles. In the modern lukewarm church, one of my many criticisms is that it’s like nobody has any problems. The ministers especially never share their personal journeys with overcoming sin or the things they struggle with, other than really mundane things, such as "I once ate a cookie from the cookie jar." I'm kind of kidding, but they never go into the deep painful things like we try to do on this blog.

Garrett was certainly mortified by his experience, but now he is using it for the greater good. My hope is that more are encouraged to do the same.

So, thank you Garrett, and on the topic of God’s voice, I’d like to talk more about my friend Vince. In a moment, I will go back to more about overcoming mental illness and differentiating between God’s voice and ungodly voices.

Vince’s Updated Testimony

For those who have read this blog for a long time, you may remember Vince’s original testimony, though it is no longer posted, as he asked me to take it down when he was struggling. However, the good news is that Vince has returned, and he is doing better than ever! It doesn’t mean things are perfect for him, but he is a different man. I wanted to share what he wrote regarding his experiences with finding Jesus, losing Him, and then coming back to Him again.

My name is Vince, I am 31 years old, a virgin and spent most of my life escaping into video games. I am on SSI disability for major depression and never had a license nor a job. Witness 2 brought me to Jesus in February. I believed everything that they were writing. I was doing good but had a lot of evil spirits that I didn't know about and was thrown into a spiritual war I had no idea existed.

At the time I was quitting a lot of psychiatric meds and drugs, totaling 6 different ones I have been on for 10 years for panic disorder, major depression, and insomnia. It was a few weeks after I quit all of them but one that I was tapering off of still. I became full of anger and rebelled against Witness 2 as I was suffering from the withdrawals and did not want to accept the truth anymore, so I told her to take down my testimony.

Commentary from Witness 2: I was very saddened when this happened. Still, I never gave up on Vince. When I prayed, God’s voice told me to wait and let Vince go through what he had to go through. I remember asking my friend Roger (and many others) to pray for him, and Roger often asked me how Vince was doing. I just want readers to know that we do actually love all of you, even when you don’t agree or we don’t hear from you. We actually do think of you all, and Witness 1 can vouch I have a prayer list for those we stay in regular contact with. However, I always pray for all of our readers. For Vince, I felt for him, and I knew the pain he was going through. I had to trust God that he would come back.

I wanted an easier way out of this torment and went looking for anything that could help. I found the “Law of One” and they welcomed me as something special, a wanderer, starseed whatever they call it. I didn't read much into it as I was lazy and they just told me to meditate to find all the answers from my "higher self." I was also too lazy to read a lot about meditating and decided to just do it self-taught. I was only doing it for 3 weeks and praying for help everyday.

I went to the park to try it. I started to see orbs of light that would move around and disappear as soon as I tried to take a picture of it. I thought I was making them appear and they would help me. This happened every night for the next week, different types of orbs, ufos, some flew right over me. They wouldn't let me get a photo or video and weren't helping me at all. I did manage to get a few pictures/videos to show my brother I wasn't crazy. After about 9 days of seeing them every night It was like I woke up and remembered how evil they were and all the things I read on project blue beam. I felt humiliated by them and anger and hate towards them which is everything they wanted. I was spiraling into a bad place and refused to go back on any of the meds.

I was too ashamed to message Witness 2 but still read all the blogs. I decided to get baptized on April 9th thinking it would help me in some way so that I could just go back home and continue playing video games and porn that just made things worse. I still didn't realize the magnitude of this spiritual war. I still saw the ufos only at night and stopped going to the park completely to avoid it. Around April 26th I finished tapering off the hardest drug called klonopin, yet I was still in such a bad place. After 4 days I went back on the klonopin and went back to kratom. I felt helpless and tormented until a month later I asked for help from Witness 2.

I was struggling mentally in a constant state of panic and dissociation even with the drugs. Kratom is cheap and addictive and sold in gas stations and smoke shops, something I struggled with for the past 3 years going on and off. Around May 28th I quit it with the help of Witness 2 and usually there are no withdrawals for this drug especially for the short time and dose I was taking it. I didn't sleep for 3 days with nocturnal mini panic attacks that would occur as soon as I was about to fall asleep. I was ready to check myself into some controlled stabilization unit but I never have been hospitalized and didn't go.

I decided I needed to get a license and go get a job or volunteer at an animal shelter before I could quit the klonopin for good. I realized the torment wasn't from some mental disorder, and I already knew no psychiatric medication should be used long term and they don't even help. I realized I couldn't be lazy in this spiritual war and God needs me for something. I prayed and repented everyday constantly and fasted and started working out and doing spiritual warfare prayers. I learned my brain fog was coming from gluten and changed my diet completely to veggies, fruit, and protein. I made a vow to God for complete celibacy. I prayed for strength in everything, strength in my prayers, my faith, my mind, my body, I prayed to change me completely for what is to come I have to be ready

God has been changing me greatly everyday in just the last few weeks, I know there are still evil spirits/demons tormenting me that I need to get rid of - I still see the ufos at night but none of that matters as I am still alive and I am still able to pray and I am still able to give thanks to god in all the suffering and give god all my love everyday all day. I know Witness 2 has prayed for me a lot and some others I don't know, I want to thank you all sincerely for your prayers that brought me back.

As you can see, Vince still has struggles but he is closer to God daily. Through the help of Jesus Christ, he is on the path of sanctification. I am so thankful that I never gave up on Vince, because honestly, he is a great guy. Truly, he has so many good qualities that I hope he can see in himself. One quality he has is perseverance. He has sincerely given up so much, and he is able to acknowledge the truth and hear God’s voice, despite the pain that he often experiences. Good work, Vince, and thank you for sharing your testimony to help others.

Note that voices are always not in our heads. If you read Vince’s testimony, the voice he was hearing was from others online. The Law of One is an infinitely deceptive voice that has caused many to go down the wrong path. Note Ra is a false god, an ancient Egyptian “god”, aka demonic entity, that has influence over millions even today.

So, let us examine the voices we hear that are not in our heads, but they come from somewhere else.

Environmental Voices

According to John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

God’s Word is His Voice. Anything that doesn’t follow God’s word or His voice is deception. That’s it.

The Bible (His Word written) helps us test everything around us, and anything anyone wants to tell us. That is why it is a book unlike any other. It is a book that helps us test the truth. I once heard a saying, “Gold is gold no matter which way you slice it.” The same goes for truth, which is the Bible, which is the Word of God, which is His voice.

Whenever something is untrue, when you slice it, there is an impurity. There is something off. A solid gold test of truth is to compare what you are hearing to the Bible, the true Word or Voice of God.

If you think about it, everything has its own voice. It may sound a little corny, but if you sit outside in the sunlight, you will hear the voice of the wind, the voice of birds, and the voice of your surroundings. We are not to worship nature, of course, but the nature around us portrays God’s voice. We are to worship the Creator, not His creation; however, many mistake these “vibrations” or “voices” around them as worthy of worship. After all, they give us a sense of God, but they are not God. When we are in nature, we can certainly feel God, and we can hear His voice. That is why I believe they are doing everything to take away nature from us as they destroy the world. Nature gives us a clue into God’s voice and identity.

So, if everything is made of energy, then everything vibrates and has its own voice or song, as Witness 1 once put it. Everything has its own song. This may sound “new age”, but I believe the “new age” people just stole this original concept of the Word from the Bible and made it their own.

So, everything is giving off a voice of sorts, or vibration. When you are exploring the world, whatever you believe should try to match the voice of God. If it doesn’t, you might be going down the wrong path.

One thing I remember is “The Ice Bucket Challenge.” People poured a bucket of ice over their heads, supposedly to fight for “ALS.” Then, they challenged others to do it.

In other words, they were using their “voice” for ALS. Why I bring this one up is I was thinking about how the internet has largely been an ongoing psychological experiment on the masses. I have no doubt that many of these “challenges” largely originate in the depths of the shadowy government, to see what they are capable of in matters of manipulation and influence.

I remember thinking that the challenge was stupid, but I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to disagree with the “general voice” of the internet. I just watched my friends do it, and I thought it was odd.

Then, things like that continued. There would always be some new event and a new voice about what we should be believing in - the current thing, so to speak.

What does this have to do anything? Well, people need to learn to test the voices they hear against the word of God. So, the world is telling everyone to do or believe in something? Hmm, what does scripture say about that?

Oh, yes, it tells us not to conform to the pattern of the world! This shows us the importance of knowing the Word of God.

If we do not know the Word of God, how can we hear His voice? That is step one to hearing His voice. Once we study the Word of God, it is written in our hearts.

When Jesus says His sheep will hear His voice, they can only do that by reading and following the Bible.

Once you know and believe Jesus, you hear Him! Even if you don’t think you do. That’s what happened with Garrett. He said, for whatever reason, Jesus was coming back to Him - because he knew Jesus’s voice. Unfortunately, he was being deceived by other spirits, but because he knew the voice of Jesus, he was able to come back.

This was the same for Vince. Though he rebelled, he knew the true word of God in His heart. He came back because that voice was nagging him.

Still, we sometimes ignore or deny Jesus’s voice. We hear it nagging at us - and we defy it. We often don’t like this voice because it makes us feel condemned.

As I noted earlier, there are times when His voice calls me out on things that I shouldn’t be doing. This is conviction spoken of in the Bible. This is the conviction both Garrett and Vince felt in their hearts when they were not right with Jesus.

This is the voice you are hearing right now, telling you if you are on the right path or not.

Now, so many “Christians” today are NOT hearing the true voice of Jesus. They are hearing a false voice that tells them everything they do is so great and they don’t have to worry about anything. Does the Bible say this?

Compare every single voice around you to the Bible. If you do this, your life will become inherently better. Now I am living so much more wisely because I compare what I hear around me to what the Bible says. It is amazing. Also, always go back to the actual word of God to read what it says. Do not listen to what any man says about it, unless you can test what that person is saying. For example, we try really hard to always back up what we are saying with links so that you can test what we say. Always test what a man says about God through the Bible itself. This concordance is a great way to test difficult scriptures.

Just to note, when everyone rushed out and took that vaccine, whose voice were they listening to? Do you think Jesus would have told everyone to take a DNA altering vaccine? Some claim He did, but what does scripture say?

Prince of The Airwaves

Did you know Satan is prince of the airwaves? According to this verse, he works with the power of the air to influence those who are wicked and disobedient. When we think about things like 5G, this seems to make a lot of sense in these end times. 5G is a proven military weapon, and it is just one of the many examples of how the military can use energy weapons to influence people.

Acknowledging this, we have to understand that everything around us has the potential to influence our thoughts. If we are being bombarded by technology, different radiation frequencies, and so on, this can have a direct impact on our moods and behaviors.

Studies show that 5G can cause depression in mice, and remember, this is just what they reveal to the public.

So, if throughout the day, you are having feelings of general depression and energy depletion, and perhaps voices associated with that, deeply consider that you may be influenced by the environment around you.

This is where fasting and prayer comes in. As Vince noted, this is what will help you wage a battle against this forces that are operating against you. For one, when you fast, you truly can eliminate toxic chemicals caused by radiation. Further, prayer is a weapon, and it works. Ever since I started placing myself deeply in prayer from day to day, I no longer get those intense feelings of depression like I used to. Now, when they come on, I know I need to go into the "prayer closet" and fight.

Going back to voices, remember they have V2K technologies that can be used on people. If you are experiencing this, you need to come to God, confess your sins, and repent. He will then help you fight these voices through prayer and fasting. I believe this is sincerely the only way to stop these voices. For more information, contact us and we can help you.

I will make one thing clear: if you are full of sin, God cannot dwell in your temple. He just can't. Therefore, it is harder to receive His help. When your temple is dirty, it is more susceptible to these evil voices.

I know people don't like to hear this, but it is the truth. I know MANY are suffering out there, not knowing that the true cause of these voices are spiritual. However, the only way to make them go away is to get right with Jesus Christ. Yes, you can get medication, but this relief is temporary. Truly, you can only be free through following Jesus and His commandments.

Anonymous Testimony About Pornography

The next anonymous testimony is from someone regarding my recent post about pornography. I shared my voice about this pornography, though it felt humiliating, and someone else offered their voice in regards to my post.

Before I share this testimony, remember that it was hard for him to share his voice, too, but I appreciate his bravery!

I don't even know where to begin. This was a really good post. Really good. Really really good. Very eye opening.

It almost made me want to cry. I know this makes me sound like a weakling, but I need to be honest.

In the internet, especially on 4chan and the discord channels I use, it's a mostly masculine point of view on everything related to relationships and porn. So it's really refreshing so see a feminine perspective and to show that not all woman are bad.

I remember a discussion I had in this Discord server I frequent about relationships and woman. The man I was arguing with said that you could only get a girlfriend nowadays if you were tall, buff, rich and had a big dick. I disagreed with him and argued otherwise (this was after I talked with you two for the first time) but everyone on the server agreed with the other guy, despite them all being Christians (Although I think they are mostly Christians to be counter culture, especially with their worship of the Catholic Church and the fact they talk about LGBT people and feminists all the time.)

But yet those words stayed with me. In your post you talked about how porn destroys women's vision of themselves, but I believe it also destroys men's own vision of themselves. I will tell you my own testimony about the effect porn had on my own self-esteem, especially cheating/cuckold porn.

Obviously I despise this genre of porn, but it feels like nowadays - especially on 4chan - it's super hard to avoid it. This awful genre polluted, telling lies that you need to be super tall, super buff, and with a super big dick in order to have a relationship, otherwise a man with these characteristics is going to have his girl stolen by men like those (Keep in mind I watched mostly drawn porn, so it was even more unrealistic than real porn). I'm not small, nor I'm super skinny nor have a small dick, but being lonely and being closed off in college, those falsehoods started to pollute my mind. I started to believe that I need to have the same characteristics of these virile men in order to have a relationship, otherwise the girl was going to cheat on me. It didn't help that whenever I went online it supported this narrative of all women being whores and fickle, so it fed my toxicity mindset. In fact, yesterday I almost relapsed because I was watching porn to make myself hard and compare my dick size to the drawings. I now it sounds pathetic, but that's the truth of what porn does to people.

In the end I was worshiping satanic beauty.

So I thank you for your testimony showing that this isn't true. Both you and Witness 1 are right that it is the fault of perverted men with a weak mind. I can never have a relationship if I keep watching porn because it's going to warp my mind on what a relationship should be. I will be obsessed with strength and power instead of nurture and growth.

Those right wing communities blame everyone for the state of the world (Women, leftists, gays, minorities, etc.) but never themselves. There's never self-reflection. The guy I was arguing never once reflected that maybe he wasn't having any luck because of his rotten mind affecting his behavior.

Both of your testimonies really helped my motivation to stop this habit. I shouldn't even look at porn because of how much it warps my outlook on people and women. It doesn't even matter if I will end alone or that the world will end or that the government will kill me before I get a girlfriend. Because I need to do this for God and my own well being.

So thank you, and may God bless you two.

What a wonderful testimony. I bolded the parts that really stood out to me. Wow. It is so great and inspiring to read things like that. Of course, it was hard for him to write that, as these are thoughts we often do not share with the world.

If all of us could be honest like this, how different could we be? I know when I looked at porn, cuckhold was one of those categories that influenced me as a woman. It was the same sort of theme: I will never be good enough for any man. And he was receiving the same message: You will never be good enough.

Demonic voices infiltrate every worldly thing we participate in, especially things like pornography, movies, music, etc.

The more we grow closer to God, the more we are able to hear His voice overpower those voices. However, if we keep returning to sin, those voices can return stronger.

Thank you, anonymous, for bravely sharing what many are thinking but won't say out loud.

Qualities of God's Voice

To summarize, we are bombarded with voices all around us. Some of these voices are the hivemind voices of the media, while others are our inner thoughts. Some of these voices comes from demons, and some are influenced by the things we view. In other words, everything around us has a "voice" that can influence us, and we must be wary.

So, how can we tell if we are hearing God's voice? Let's review what God's voice is NOT:

  • God's voice will not humiliate or denigrate.
  • God's voice will not lie to you.
  • God's voice will not tell you to do something that goes against scripture.

So, then, what is God's voice?

  • God's voice is helpful.
  • God's voice is truthful.
  • God's voice is aligned with scripture.

Further, going into scripture, God's voice is still and small. The demonic voices, on the other hand, are cruel, loud, and large. His voice is powerful. Remember, when you speak scripture out loud, it is extremely powerful. I noticed when I simply quote scripture to people, they act differently. They are weakened. It is hard to explain, but that is the power of God. His voice can shake the Earth and the Heavens. Sometimes, it will shake you.

The closer you get to God, the more you lead a holy life, and the more you fast and pray, well, the more you will clearly hear His voice.

You must be very careful and test the spirits. There are many voices out there that sound like Jesus, but they are not Him.

Further, like I always say in every single blog post I write, you have to fast and pray more. Truly, if you want to hear God's voice, you need to clear some things out of you. What you don't understand is that many of the environmental factors out there (fluoride, chemtrails, 5g, poison food, etc.), are used to block God's voice. Honestly, fasting is one way you can eliminate some of those toxins interfering with hearing it. Of course, prayer is your direct line to God. His phone number is Jeremiah 33:3.
