A Call to Action for the True Remnant of Revelation

Pride: The First and Last Sin

Many have been hearing recent news of a revival, and as soon as I see anything on mainstream news, I’m immediately suspicious, especially when it comes to Christianity. Now, I’m not trying to bring anyone down or say that it isn’t possible that some types of revivals are occurring in the end times. However, the Bible is clear that there will be a great falling away, not a revival, that will be happening during these times, and as usual, Satan loves to turn everything upside down. In fact, right now, Christianity is declining worldwide.

In just a quick search of the revival, I found that the Asbury Church has very “progressive” views, and it is up to you to click here to see if their views align with the Bible.

In the meantime, I think that we can use the Holy Spirit to form some logical conclusions:

We are in the end times as talked about in my book here, specifically the Book of Revelation. As mentioned earlier, a great falling away is happening - not some type of revival.
Nearly everything presented to us in the media is a lie in some way shape or form.
People need to be aware of the many false prophets deceiving many, especially in the end times, which leads to my next point.

How is it possible so many are being deceived right now? Don’t they all proclaim to love Jesus with all their heart?

The answer is pride. People’s pride is stopping them from discernment. For example, many will not admit that the vaccine was a bad choice, though so much information is coming out about its harmful effects. While many will even say they regret taking it, few will repent. I’m not here to judge anyone that took the vaccine, and if you did, I say repent. However, I am making a point that if so many Christians cannot even just say, “Hey, that vaccine was a bad decision!”, then from that point, they will just fall into a deeper web of deceit. I am certainly mourning this thought, and I am praying to God each day that more wake up and come back to the truth - I have thankfully talked to some who have. Now, let’s go back to the Bible.

Satan fell from heaven due to pride. This was technically the first sin in the spiritual realm. Satan transferred this sin to Adam and Eve, through deception. This all happened in the book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible.

Now, God often uses parallelism in His perfect storyline. We are now in the last book of the Bible - Revelation. The first sin will be the last - this prideful generation will fall.

As people are speaking of false revivals, we are warning the end is near! It is time to mourn the end of the church as we know it, and rather, to start building ourselves as the last, true remnant of Jesus Christ!

My Dream

Last night I had a troubling dream. Before bed, as usual, I asked God for any dreams and any wisdom. He gave me a painful one last night, and through fasting and prayer, I’ve been reflecting all day.

In the beginning of the dream, I was choosing a dress for a wedding. A very common symbol in my dreams is me choosing what to wear. For those who haven’t figured it out yet, I am a woman (Witness 2). Anyway, I chose a pink, sparkly dress that I thought was perfect for the wedding. I am assuming the dress and the color I wear is some type of reflection of my relationship with God, but let me get back to the relevant part for you (but email me with any insight, if you’d like!)

So, when I was at the wedding I saw two women kissing. I left the wedding, somewhat shocked. I then headed to church. I was sitting in the pews with my family. During the service, there was a big crowd, but the preacher’s microphone wasn’t working well, and only half of the congregation could really hear what he was saying. The message was somewhat controversial but important, so I asked him to fix his microphone so all could hear. He decided to, but for whatever reason, he took a break from the sermon, which seemed strange to me.

Then, I decided to go pray in a confession booth. Just so you know, I’m not Catholic, and have never done this, but I believe God was just giving me a symbolic message. I prayed to God asking for discernment of the preacher’s message, and then, as I was about to leave, I noticed the curtain was open the whole time. I felt somewhat betrayed because that was supposed to be a private prayer.

I then went back into the church, waiting for the service to begin. My family did not come back, and I was very worried. I called one of my family members out of concern, and I asked her why she had abandoned me at the church. She replied that she didn’t like that the church was asking for donations. This didn’t make sense to me, and it felt like she was just making something up as nearly all churches ask for tithes. I then told her she was a selfish person and hung up. I went to search for the rest of my family.

Interpretation: The Church is Dead

That day, I fasted and prayed, trying to figure out what the dream meant. I believe I have come to some conclusions. From the women kissing, to the nonchalant, unconcerned pastor, to half of the church not hearing, and finally, to my “family” abandoning the church, I could only form one conclusion: The church is in chaos, dying, and very close to complete death.

Really, overall, I mean that. Not only did so many churches line people up to take an abomination during the “pandemic”, but now, so many false prophets abound that I feel almost sick when I go online now to seek fellowship or a Word from God.

Anyway, I believe God was showing me that, ultimately, I felt abandoned by the church, whether it be the pastors that make it up, or my Christian brothers or sisters. I know many of you reading feel this way, too.

I want to be clear here: I am not saying that there aren’t any good churches left. I am certain there are. However, I believe they are likely small, few, and not “famous” by any standards. Rather, these churches are likely quiet, humble, and God-fearing, and if you are out there, please send us an email to [email protected].

However, Witness 1 and wrote here why we stopped going to church and why we decided to take on this online ministry. We just want to share the truth of Jesus Christ - not doctrine that “tickles” anybody’s ears.

Here, you will find many things that are often painful. I believe that what we write here will never make us well-liked. However, I deeply appreciate the fellowship we have formed with readers all over the world, those who are brave enough to face the truth.

The Modern Church

To give you an example of the type of abandonment I have felt, I was reading another blog, and I found an email of a man who claimed to be a prophet. I generally liked what he wrote, so I sent him an email, asking him to pray for me about a specific issue. Here was his reply:

Hi. Seek the living God, the rapture of the church will soon take place. Check out the YouTube channel of ______________. It's in English and explains everything clearly. I preach in Russia and my YouTube channel link is ___________________.

I'll pray for you. Soon the Antichrist will reign and Jesus will take his people of God.

That was his email. I don’t know about you, but it was very dissatisfying to me. It felt like he just wanted me to go to his channel and give it more views. He didn’t really care about me, and I was left disappointed.

Just so those reading know I’m not a hypocrite, and while I may lead people to our writing, if somebody asks me to pray for them, I do and I always put in great effort to my replies. I reply to people often in lengthy emails for weeks or even months. I really put effort into helping those who reach out.

I am not asking for praise, and I am not even angry at the person. I was just disappointed. If you see his email differently, I completely understand!

Notice, though, too, the obsession with the rapture, and I’ve written about the pre-tribulation rapture deception here. I want to write here that I could be wrong about the pre-trib rapture; however, I know one thing: none of us should be sitting here, idolizing a rapture. Rather, we should be living every day as if Christ is going to return, and we shouldn’t become obsessed with one theory or another. I could be wrong, I’m willing to say that, but if the pre-tribulation rapture is wrong, that will be absolutely devastating to about 71% of the world.

I’ll give him credit. He replied. Most don’t. I really want to make clear here that maybe to some, his reply was great. For me, though, it just felt like I was another number to him.

Another thing to note is he references his YouTube ministry. I actually didn’t even click on it, as I was disappointed, but Jesus was very clear about our motivations when serving Him, and while I have come across some awesome YouTube people (some who even read our stuff), most of them are in love with themselves. They worship themselves.

So, what is the state of the modern church? I believe it is dying, and there are two extremes that we are seeing. Please read the full thing before sending angry emails:

1. Churches that exist today are mostly lukewarm: Revelation is clear that most churches today are not “hot” or “cold” about any topic. When Witness 1 and I went to church, we became exhausted by the same sermons about Moses over and over again. Most churches are serving milk, not meat, and while there is nothing wrong with simple messages at times, we are still waiting for a sermon about 9/11 or MKUltra. Seriously.

The lukewarmness, I believe, comes from cowardice. Pastors today are simply afraid to speak the truth on any topic that would make them lose followers or become a media target. When Covid started, very few pastors spoke out against the closing of churches, one of the greatest violations of our rights as Christians in history. The Bible is clear about what will happen to cowards. These churches employ the “once saved, always saved” doctrine, which leads to unrepentant, sinful, and lazy churches. The lukewarm church uses grace to the extreme, where it becomes simply meaningless to even say one is Christian at all!

2. On the other end, I am seeing a rise in legalism in many churches, most of which are online ministries. These churches are completely works-based, where grace doesn’t come into the equation at all. I have gone online to hear pastors saying any woman who braids her hair is going to hell. Where does it say that? Where does it specifically say that in the Bible? It doesn’t say anyone is going to hell if they where braids pers se; rather, it is a verse that needs to be examined in context.

As you can see, an automatic legalistic view of anything becomes danger. In the view of legalism, Christianity becomes a list of rules that leave people trembling. Now, I want to note that the Bible does speak about not braiding hair, but there is a cultural context of the time that must be considered. What the online YouTube preacher has done is take a verse with deep, beautiful meaning about inner beauty and turned it into a Pharisee-like rule or law. I plan on writing a post about beauty soon, but this is not my point here. The point here is that legalism takes love out of Christianity.

You see what happens here? For one woman, it is sinful but for another it is not, and Jesus will judge us all on an individual level. Think of it like drinking alcohol. The Bible says people can drink but not to get drunk. There are some people who can do that, and there are some who can’t. For some, they can drink a few glasses of wine during the week, and they are fine. There are others who can never drink because it leads them to a path of darkness. The Bible is so perfect because there is something for everyone - on an individual level. In other words, God deals with us as individuals, and a church should, too. But they don’t.

To the modern church, we are numbers, likes, and money. We are not people to them, and Jesus says, these “pastors” have already gotten their reward here on Earth.

Call to Action: Rebuilding the Church

So, what can we do? I never want to leave anyone in a state of hopelessness because there is always hope.

I believe we can rebuild the church here. I believe that many reading this are the last remnant of Revelation. We are the “outcasts” as Isaiah explains - the ones who cannot fit into this world.

Now what are some things we can do to get started?

4. Continue to serve the Lord in other ways. Of course, this isn’t all about our ministry, but we want to use it as a starting point for you. As Jesus sums up in Matthew 24: 35 - 40,

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

5. Find the love of God again: Be like one of my readers, who I will call V. He just came to Christ, wrote his testimony, and He is so excited about Jesus. It honestly is inspiring. We all need to be like that again - yes, even me. Please remember, whatever I write is for me, too. I never mean to come off as judgmental or “holier than thou.”

Rather, when I was inspired to write this, God was really pressing on my heart to put you all on a mission - to remind you that we are all disciples and we need to do the work, even if it is the end times.

It isn’t over yet. There are still people to reach, and most of all, we need to be calling people to “repent.” We need to repent, and we need to lead others to repentance. I believe that is our mission in these end times.

When we get to Heaven, I want to be there, and I want to see you all, too. And I’m going to say, “Remember when we started the last church of Revelation, and there were just a few of us?”

Yes, I have faith in that actually happening. I really do.
