The Idol of Mammon, Testimony from an Ex-Mormon, & Prep Advice

You cannot serve God and mammon, but who is mammon? This post will cover modern idolatry, a testimony from an ex-Mormon, K, and more fantastic prep advice from Christian Caveman. Photo Credit.

Introduction

When people cited reasons for taking the vaccine, one of the most common reasons I heard is this: "I had to do it for work." At the center of work is money, and we have all heard that the love of money is the root of all evil, but as usual, I wanted to explore this idol more deeply. So, I prayed.

Before bed last night, I prayed to God about what He wanted me to write regarding my next upcoming post. First, I had a word given to me in the middle of the night. "War is Coming." That was very unusual because it was not a dream but just a spoken word. I have nothing more to add to this, and I have to admit, I felt very anxious upon hearing this statement, so I prayed some more. I felt an urgency behind it. Please read Christian Caveman's advice at the end of this article for help preparing for what it to come.

The next dream I had involved Witness 1 and I trying to make a profit off of renting out a space. We made $57. This dream was extremely mundane, and since Witness 1 and I are pretty poor, it makes sense. We sometimes try to make money in clever ways, especially through some of our hobbies. Perhaps God is telling us all to start thinking of clever ways to exit the beast system. However, I knew the dream had a deeper meaning, so I looked up 57 in the Strong's Greek concordance when I woke up, and it led me to this word: unknowable, with only one verse referenced in Acts 17:23:

  • 23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.

Right away, I knew God was leading me to something to write about. I read the context, and Paul is in the marketplace, proclaiming they are all worshipping "unknown" gods.

I believe that is parallel to what we see today. Remember, worship does not have to be intentional. One can worship something or someone and not even know it. Anything or anyone can be worshipped. You can even worship something you hate! What does worship imply or entail?

Worship is anything that gets more time from you in your thoughts or actions - whether those be direct or indirect, intentional or unintentional - than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Where do we see this idea about worship in the Bible? In Revelation 13:16, when people take the mark in their foreheads or hands, this implies worship. While verses can have multiple meanings, I would like to discuss the figurative meaning behind it. Verses in the Bible regarding forehead and hands are all about worship with our thoughts in actions, such as Deuteronomy 11:18:

  • “You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. "

This is a figurative verse, and remember, the Bible is all perfectly connected, so what was said in the Old Testament transfers to the New Testament in perfect unity and cohesion.

We can see that worship is based off of our thoughts and actions, and the sign of the "forehead" and "hand" represent this in a metaphorical sense. Our forehead is what we think about, and our hands are our actions or work. As I a reminder, I am not saying there is not a physical component to this, which I discussed in my book, but let us focus on the figurative context for the essence of this post.

This morning, I continued in prayer, trying to understand what God wanted me to write about idols. He told me that readers don't understand who or what they worship. Like in Acts 17:23, He told me they worship "unknown" gods with their thoughts and actions, but they are not even aware of this.

So, I continued in prayer this morning, and I was reading Isaiah 2, which happens to be all about idols and concerns the "Day of the Lord." Essentially, the world is full of idols, and it is time for God to destroy this evil world. Remember, Isaiah has a "dual fulfillment" prophecy, so what has been, will be again - this time, though, it will involve the destruction of modern Babylon.

In Isaiah, one verse stood out to me specifically:

2:8 Their land 776 also is full 4390 8735 of idols 457; they worship 7812 8691 the work 4639 of their own hands 3027, that which their own fingers 676 have made 6213 8804:

We go back to the word "hands" again, and this brings me back to the idol of work.

I was thinking about how people idolize work so much, that it is their modern, unknown god. They don't even know they idolize it. Yet, if you really think about it, work has even replaced the family, with "the weirdness of work spouses" and the "new normal" or "blurred life work-balance." I am sure many readers can vouch how work has become or replaced family and community for many. It has overtaken every aspect of life for many.

If you think you are off the hook because you don't work, that is not true. Because it just isn't work that it is the idol. There is something deeper.

Money is at the root of work, correct, but what about the people who don't work? Well, surely, the readers who don't work still have a way to get money. So, whether you work or not, this post is for you, as everyone reading has a means of money, whether they work or not.

So, what connects both the workers and non-workers of this post? Comfort. Modern Babylonian Comfort - that people want to preserve at all costs, even if they claim they are miserable.

Whether you are on welfare, disability, living off of family, or working daily, you have a form of money, which gives you comfort.

Now, we all need money to live, so that is not the idol per se. It is the "love" of this money that is the root of evil. but still, we need to go deeper. What is this root attached to? What is this root coming from?

When I was trying to understand this actual unknown god of money, I realized it did have a name: Mammon, and this led me to this famous verse in Matthew 6:

While many translations say money or wealth in replace of mammon, I believe the word mammon is more important here, which is "wealth personified." It is the god of wealth, treasures, and money. It is the god of materialism.

Wealth isn't just about money. Like the disgusting image at the beginning of this post, it is about comfort, luxuries, and material possessions. Just because you are poor does not mean you do not serve mammon. Just because you do not have a job does not mean you do not serve mammon.

In fact, in our ministry, many people who are poor think non-stop about mammon day and night. Both the rich and the poor can serve mammon. So, don't think you are off the hook if you don't have a lot of money either. This idol touches everyone in some way, shape, or form. Of course, if you are wealthy, you are not off the hook either, as you might want to reflect on what Jesus says about being wealthy.

Moreover, even if you don't care about money, still - you're not off the hook. The center of why people love modern society so much, despite how evil it is, is that it provides them comfort and "treasures."

Mammon is the unknown god many readers worship, and God wanted me to give a warning to all readers.

I want everyone to know I am currently working on my testimony regarding overcoming idolization of mammon at this moment, so I am writing this from experience. I once worshipped my own job, too. I once worshipped treasures and materials, too. I once worshipped mammon, as well. I note this because I am repenting, and hopefully this writing brings others to repentance, too.

While my testimony will get deeper into this and I will be posting that soon, I wanted to share a small portion of it for this post.

When I first started my career, it was my idol. It was my god. For me, it was about the idol of success and achieving goals. It was about feeding my ego and "looking good" to others. It, of course, provided me with comfort, money, treasures, vacations, and more.

Now, we all need money, so simply just having a job isn't idolization. However, the problem is that many reading do not realize they idolize either a) their jobs or b) staying comfortable.

I believe there will come a time when you will have to make a choice on whether or not to serve mammon or God, if you haven't already.

Let's say another vaccine mandate comes out. Maybe this time it is tied to the digital ID. Maybe it's another pandemic and jobs start requiring vaccines again. Welfare starts requiring it. Or your disability check requires it. You get the idea.

Even if you don't believe the vaccine is the mark, that doesn't matter. There will come a time for choices you have to make on whether you want to worship the beast or not. This time may even be now.

It may not happen in a way we think. Remember, the elite are always "desensitizing" and doing things in stages. Most of the world has already taken their gene-altering vaccines, which we believe is the mark, so now the nice "stuff" is over. Now there will likely be more coming pressure and coercion, and eventually, force.

Many readers think it is over, but I am here to tell you it is not over. If you think this is over, then you are wrong.

When it comes down to your check and creature comforts, which choice will you make?

For many of you, you are relying on family to take care of you, most of whom are vaccinated. What will you do when you have to make that choice - when they tell you to get vaxxed or get kicked out.

For others, you are the "breadwinner" of the family. Do you have a plan for if that choice comes?

This is not an easy article to write. Remember, I am working in the beast system right now, too. I am writing this for me as much as I am for you.

Going back to mammon, we have to love God more than we love our comfort, our money, and even our lives.

We cannot serve two masters. If we love any of these things more than God, that is who we serve.

God wanted me to explain that many of you are trying to serve two masters right now. Whatever your "other master" is - He wants you to explore it, reflect on it, and repent - to change. Is it money, your reputation, your job, your family, your drug of choice, your "treasures", your fake friends, or something else?

God wants us to hate the world:

  • Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

When I have prayed to God, and I have asked Him, why doesn't anybody really care? I ask this because it is a lonely world, and though we have supporters, we get thousands upon thousands of readers who want to be entertained but do not really care for change.

I 100% believe we post the truth here or I wouldn't waste my time, and God just answers, "They love the world more than the truth. They love their idols more than me. They love mammon more than me. They love their comforts, and they love their lives. Sure, they complain about all the evil, but they are part of that evil: they promote it because they are too ashamed of the truth."

To expand upon this, the Holy Spirit tells me, "They are ashamed of what is written on this blog. They don't really share the work. They don't really support it. They love to read it. Some may even say you're a good writer. Some look forward to the posts. But they don't love it enough to share it with others. They don't love it enough to support this page."

Those are actually words from the Holy Spirit. I asked if there was anything else, and He said, "Tell them the message is for every single person reading this. No one is exempt."

In fact, the readers will say something like "Well, they say a lot of truth, but I just don't really know if it's all truth." They sit on the fence, and they go back to mammon.

Mammon is the god of many readers. Before you say, "That's not me," I believe it is time to reflect in prayer.

Before anyone accuses me of being overly critical or judgmental, I want to continue to share part of my testimony with you.

Remember, I worshipped my job and the reputation that came with it. I loved that people loved me for the work I did.

One morning, after a very disastrous time in my life, I woke up, and God told me, "Quit your job now, or you will die from it."

It's hard to explain what that even meant, but I think it partly meant I would lose my soul, or even my life, somehow, someway if I continued to worship my job and what others thought of me. That was a big part of it: I cared a lot about what people thought of me, which was a god in a sense.

So, I woke up, I sent an email, and I resigned. I did this without telling Witness 1 or anyone. Let's just say no one was happy with me. It was wrong to not advise Witness 1, but if I didn't do it the way I did, I never would have escaped. Remember, both Witness 1 and I have spiritually grown since then, and we both admitted fault in this situation. We have reflected, repented, and we are more in love with each other every passing day. Who else would put up with me? : )

Readers have to understand my job was my idol - this wasn't just a job, this was who I was at the time. My job was my identity.

The next few months were crazy. Witness 1's family was so angry at me, and I remember asking his dad, "What's more important, my life or my job?"

He said, "Your job."

So, I am sure you can all guess that this was a dark time in my life. Witness 1 and I were did not see eye to eye (we do now), and here are the things I told him at the time:

  • Jesus Christ told me to.
  • We will be okay. God will provide.
  • I need to get my life together.
  • I will find something else.

All of those were true because they are what Jesus Christ told me. As you can imagine, most would not believe those words, but I had faith.

One day, in the bank, I received a random check (seriously, this came from "nowhere" but we know that's how God works), and we were able to carry on for the following months as I searched for more work. Just to note, Witness 1 does work and gets paid as a writer (not for this site, obviously), but unfortunately my job has more sustainable income. Anyway, I did get my life together, and I did find something better. We were all okay, as Jesus promised.

In fact, I think Witness 1 would vouch that quitting that job that day turned out to be the best decision I ever made.

The experience itself, of course, was humiliating and tragic. Everyone gossiped about me - friends, family, etc. It was a big job, a big deal. It was something I worked toward my entire life, and I completely and utterly failed.

Yet, for the following months, I changed. I started praying. I started talking to God. I started surrounding myself with people who loved God like me, which cut my inner circle immensely. I started standing up for what was right. I completely transformed.

As I write this, I am smiling. I thank you Lord Jesus Christ, for helping me give up mammon.

There is more to this story, and I will write about in my upcoming testimony, which goes beyond mammon to my various idols in life.

Anyway, I am not telling you to just go out and quit your job. God calls us to do different things.

I am inviting you to reflect and think about if you worship mammon, which the Bible refers to twice as "the mammon of unrighteousness."

To end this section, many worship unknown gods and don't even know it. Now you know the name of one of these gods - it is "mammon."

I pray all readers are able to reflect and ask god upon reading this post, "Do I serve two masters? If so, please help me only serve you, Jesus Christ."

Be careful, though, because sometimes when God answers a prayer, there may be much loss and destruction. However, it is always worth it for God.

Testimony of an Ex-Mormon Brother, K

Speaking of idols, I believe many "denominations" can become idols. For many, they love their "sect", more than they love God, which is why it can be so hard to leave Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, or other cults. By the way, I was deeply involved with the JWs for a while, and I promise I will have a great testimony on that coming.

I appreciate our brother in Christ, K, being able to escape the Mormon cult. I asked if he would write his testimony for the blog, so here it is. God, I pray you bless this brother for sharing his testimony openly and honestly in Jesus's name. I also commend him for being so honest about his struggles.

Witnesses,

This isn’t easy for me to write. I’ve been fearful for the better part of my life. When it comes to speaking of my flaws, my mistakes, my sins… it’s easier in person with close friends. I’ve always been afraid of technology. I’ve always had the fear that someone is watching or listening ingrained into me. And you two are out of reach, in another state. And I know we are brothers and sisters in Christ, but digital communication often terrifies me. But I owe thanks and I haven’t forgotten you asked for my testimony. I took me to time to prepare it, and I ask Jesus to help me lay this out.

I was born and baptized Mormon. It was difficult living in a small community where everyone knew you and every little thing you did. I did not understand God for a long, long while. As a child I knew God was real, I knew Jesus loved me, but I did not understand why we were all here. As I grew up, I had an edgy Satanist phase… I then called myself agnostic. As I became an “adult”, I began considering spirituality and Gnosticism. Ultimately I came back to Jesus Christ. And then I found your book, The More Rational Worldview, and it solidified everything I believed. And suddenly, I knew how much wrong I was still doing. I was drowning myself in alcohol and getting high all the time and smoking cigarettes nonstop. For crying out loud, when I had the revelation that the entire bible is true and the mark of the beast is here I was reading your book, smoking a cigar, and I could feel every sin in my body to the bone.

There’s so much I want to say, but I think at this point I want to lay down my experiences that brought me to believing again. I won’t go into great detail on everything, I’ll try to make it quick.

When I was 7 years old, I found YouTube videos discussing the truth of 9/11.

When I was 15 I should have died from an obscene amount of alcohol I drank. I mean some “jungle juice” cocktail, multiple beers, and a big cup of Everclear (mixed with lemonade mix, it makes me sick thinking about it). I’m convinced God saved me.

My grandfather had Alzheimer’s and dementia, and I remember the night before he died I prayed for his suffering to end. I know God answered that prayer for my entire family.

I found the woman for me and was scared - I didn’t want to get into a long distance relationship and thought we should call it off.

Another woman came into my life and I told her I just got out of a relationship. Through guilt I got with this other woman and began spiraling into depression and drugs.

One night I proposed drunk… terrible idea.

I was lying to myself this entire time, telling myself I could make this work.

Eventually, after a conversation one day, she told me she hated religion and she hated that I was pushing it onto her (at this point I thought I needed to start coming back to God to be saved and told her I needed the Sabbath to myself)

I finished your book and after the course of a few months, I told her the relationship wasn’t working.

I suffered for a few months. Thinking of the woman I had loved since I’d met her, and how I’d let her down.

I finally called her and she said she forgave me, and that she was never upset.

She’s the love of my life, and I’m so thankful to be with her. No one else would put up with me constantly pouring my heart out about Jesus and conspiracy theories lol.

I truly believe God helped us find each other, we never would have met otherwise.

Finally, I want to admit that I am a sinner. I was a terrible influence to my friends. I lied all the time in school. When I was a teenager cops came to my house to retrieve a phone I’d stolen from a kid (he forgave me, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that he did). I found porn when I was very young and I still struggle with it to this day. I hurt people in my past relationships by not being honest through and through. And I have said things about Jesus and God that I am not proud of at all. I pray for forgiveness for the people I hurt and I still pray about forgiveness for what I’ve said about God.

I’m not perfect, I’m still working on sanctification (advice from our earlier emails). I’ll likely be working on it my entire life as I have been. I wanted to write this as a thank you, I know it’s not perfect and I’m sure you get enough lengthy emails anyway, but thank you.

One more thing before I go, I just wanted to share a little connection I made. Jesus flipped tables when he found out his Father’s temple was made a place to buy and sell. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t patent 060606 seem to turn the third temple into a place to buy and sell? No man rich or poor may buy or sell without it. Maybe that’s a little schizo on my part though haha.

Thank you both for all you’ve done. Your books, your blogs, and your emails. I’m very bad at keeping up with most things, but I can’t stay away from your site! Your words of love, truth and encouragement keep me going through these times.

God bless you both in the name of His holy son, Jesus Christ, amen.

No, not "schizo" at all. As I read it, I felt the Holy Spirit, especially the part about sanctification. You said, you'd be doing it the rest of your life. I feel the same way.

I love, love the temple connection, which actually relates to what I wrote at the beginning of this post. In Acts 17:24, which I referenced earlier, Paul explains that God does not dwell in temples made with human hands.

Thank you, for the encouragement, as I believe Witness 1 and I are flipping tables in the true temple of God (those reading) right now! Great connection!

Thank you so much, K, for your honesty and reflection. As you can see, he is in a state of where we all should be: repentance. Just to note, I always post testimonies here, if you ever want to read through them. Thank you to all who have ever shared a testimony - they are powerful!

Prepping in the End Times with Christian Caveman

Christian Caveman has been writing survival articles for this blog, which you can check out here if you have missed any, and today, he has written two new articles for readers, so enjoy!

What is Your Tribulation Gameplan? - Christian Caveman

This article is going to detail some of my thoughts on what a family or lone individual should do during this decade. We have no idea what the Synagogue of Satan (SoS) is going to pull next on the population, though we have a general idea due to their plans being out in the open with organizations like the WEF broadcasting it. This essay will cover two plans that one needs to be ready to execute at a moments notice.

As I write this, the elite are planning to vaccinate animals with mRNA vaccines, which will make its way into food. At this point, we should all be seeking alternative food sources.

Plan A is that you need to start becoming as self sufficient as much as possible. The first and most important step to this is gathering your own meat and plants. They are absolutely, 100% going to seize total control over the food. You will have to get the mark and enter into the digital ID prison system in order to get food eventually. If you have money and resources to begin homesteading and raising your own crops and animals, then you should definitely begin making that transition. If not and you are like the rest of us, myself included, that leaves one other option. That means you need to gather them from the wild.

Trapping, fishing and hunting will be be the methods you extract food, besides foraging. You can also plant wild gardens in forests with the seeds from wild plants you harvest, creating your own hidden food sources. 99% of people have no knowledge of foraging, which is a big advantage for yourself when developing these gardens. In addition, wild edibles are very tough and resilient, and you don’t have to spend much time or resources trying to keep them alive like domesticated plants. One man I know in my online survival circle discovered this with Amaranth. He raised it next to his kale and other domestic plant species. Many of them withered and couldn’t grow. The wild amaranth flourished and he barely had to do anything to keep it alive besides planting it.

This is God’s handiwork. Don’t fight against His creation he has laid out in your general area. Use it to your advantage and He will make it a lot easier going along with his design instead of you trying to go against it with other foreign species of plants that have no business being there. A recurring trend I see in this world is that it always pays to go along with nature and putting in the work to do it yourself. Any shortcuts or taking the easy way almost always screws you over. For example, you could take the easy way and go to the grocery and get the produce from there. However, it's laced with pesticides and chemicals that will kill you over a long period of time. And dependence on these stores will eventually lead to your enslavement and control. On the opposite end, you could collect or raise wild plants yourself, become one step close to self sufficiency, and learn to feed yourself. You will also improve your health eating wild plants as it isn’t laced with chemicals, and wild plants have deeper roots, leading to them generally being much richer in nutrients than the genetic abominations sold in these evil mega corporations.

The second pillar of self sufficiency that everyone needs to strive for is physical fitness. Physical fitness is vital for many reasons. One, it keeps you out of the kill houses known as hospitals. You DO NOT want to get dependent on Big Pharma medications. The entire Sickcare system in place is designed to get everyone dependent on these medications and vaccines. The transgender scam is another attack vector they are attempting to do. By cutting someone's penis or breasts off, and jacking them up on hormones, they are ensuring these poor people will be needing consistent medical care the rest of their short lives. What a great way for these parasites to make money and sterilize the population! The second reason is because you need physical fitness and strength is to get your food and protect your family. I don’t care if you are a man or woman, you need to be fit. No excuses. If you are a real Christian, you aren’t going on benders or getting stoned out of your mind. The only reason you aren’t training the body God gave you is because you are lazy. You don’t need to work out for hours. Do something short everyday.

You need to eat as healthy as possible. Eat a lot of meat, eggs, fish, and dairy as you can. Yes, I know a lot of what I just listed has hormones and other nasty stuff. But that is why I am pushing you guys to get as much wild food as you can. You are trying to minimize the poison as much as possible. I pray over all the food I eat, and ask God to clean it. Since doing that, I feel much better and I do think God helps when asked. (Witness 2 can vouch for this!)

Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven, Thank you for this food. Please cleanse all evil from in it and bless it in Jesus's name.

For men, you need to protect your testosterone. I will cycle taking herbal testosterone supplements such as Tongkat Ali, and Fadogia Agrestis, and also take NMN from Black Forest supplements. If you aren’t getting morning wood, that is a big sign your testosterone might be low. Another sign is if you have low energy, low sex drive, and aren’t interested in the female sex. The SoS is obsessed with emasculating and making us men weak. Don’t let them win. You need testosterone to fight and forage.

I could list other ways you can become self sufficient, such as getting your own water (you should be distilling your tap water), becoming self sufficient energy wise, etc. but these are the two biggest ones you guys need to work on becoming. It is a journey that requires study and constant practice, and you need to accept that this is something important for Christians of this modern age to do. We didn’t choose to be survivors in this this satanic, low-cyberpunk dystopia, but we will persevere and make The Lord proud of our spirit and will. *

Alright, time to talk about Plan B.

Plan B becomes more of a certainty as time goes on. We are going to witness some real gnarly sh*t. I can’t sugar coat this. You WILL witness some really terrifying things in this life. We know the SoS can manipulate weather, use DEWs, drop chemical bombs like in East Palestine, has advanced UFO-esque aircraft, access to occult magic and much more. We know they are going to crash the economy, start WW3/civil conflict in America and the rest of the world. We will face pestilences, earthquakes, potentially cosmic phenomena that comes from God and who knows what else. This means that eventually, you will probably have to leave home. What I talked about earlier in Plan A is what you do during the times of relative peace before the real SHTF. Also, by focusing on getting your own food and honing your physical prowess, you are practicing for Plan B as well.

Contrary to what most internet commandos think, you do not want to be getting into fire fights during times of turmoil. You are a person with no military support or supply logistics, with limited resources. The top priority for a family during these events is stealth and evasion. If you are in a city or urban area, scout areas around you. Talk to family that lives in rural areas. Figure out where you would go in case of SHTF. In areas where you think you could stay, scout for food. Study the plants. Look for water, such as rivers, lakes, streams, etc. Look for animal sign. Determine how much human traffic is out there. Again, like I say in many of my writings, you are a scout. You are scouting for your tribe and are responsible for their survival. No one is going to save you. Its just you and God.

If a crisis happens, you want to move at night if possible. Depending on the catastrophe, hostiles will be everywhere searching for targets of opportunity. Maneuver through wooded areas and just behind tree lines. Harbor during the day in thickets, and other vegetation that no one would move through. Night vision devices are an EXTREMELY useful tool. If you have night vision, you will have a large advantage over the population. Very few individuals besides militias, military and serious preppers will have this technology. If you can’t afford a set of PVS-14s, get a night vision scope for your rifle or as just one to wear around your neck with a piece of string. Seriously, I would get PVS-14s over some fancy AR and chest rig. It’s that much of a game changer. You do not want to be fumbling around in the dark with a flash light. If you only have a flashlight as an option, get a red light lens flashlight. They are harder to see at night, and I used them in the military. If you have to use a flashlight, use a poncho, coat or blanket to cover yourself while you read or look at a map. Light discipline is the number one reason recon and special forces units get caught at night. Don’t smoke a cigarette at night as it kills your natural night vision.

You need to get basic kit. Buy a large hiking backpack, and avoid anything that looks military. Hill People kit chest bags go great with a pack. Get high quality hiking boots, you do not want cheap foot wear. Trust me, I have personal experience with cheap boots from the military. Merrell is my favorite brand. I completed a 26 mile hike in the Mojave desert with a heavy pack in a pair of them with a 240B medium machine gun(25 lb). My feet were torn up afterwards still, but I wouldn’t have completed the hike in cheap boots. They make a huge difference when you are on your feet all day.

Get camping gear. Fire starters, lighters, water filtration, lightweight tent, poncho, blanket, sleeping bag, hand axe and saw, medical kit, traps like #11 longsprings/110 and 220 conibears, fishing kit with lots of line and hooks to make limb lines, fish antibiotics/medicine. There are a million resources online for this kind of stuff. You want to remain as light as possible. Check my earlier posts on resources to learn trapping and other critical skills.

For firearms, I would get a take-down .22LR rifle and a self defense handgun. Why am I not recommending something like an AR? Simple. I have thought about this a lot, and I genuinely think that an AR or AK is not practical for this kind of situation. The ammo is heavy, so you can’t take a lot of ammo. You can’t hunt small game with them, as the rounds destroy the meat. Plus it is very loud. You are not trying to get in fire fights. If there is a group of men trying to kill you with body armor or other tricked out AR/AKs, you will very likely die. I am not being pessimistic, but this is based off my training. We did simulation drills with paint balls in infantry school, and we got shown you WILL get overwhelmed by multiple shooters quickly. The best defense is to limit your exposure to these situations as much as you can. If you are in a homestead or other area with resources, then I would 100% recommend having fighting rifles like AR/AKs. But if you are on foot, you need to treat this as a long camping trip. Ounces equal pounds, and pounds equal pain. And carrying a heavy load will wear you out and make you need more food. With .22LR ammo, you can carry 3-5x as much ammo compared to .223 or 7.62. You can also hunt small and large game with it, with large game requiring a head-shot or heart-shot. Study animal anatomy to know where to shoot. Deer can be shot between the eye and the base of the ear.

With modern Ruger 10/22 take-downs, there are many options you can choose. They are extremely modular, with tons of after market parts. You can build a very accurate and reliable shooter, with the capacity to magazine dump on hostiles at close range very quickly with low recoil. You can also buy a suppressor and quiet the report down to minuscule levels. A suppressed .22LR can use sub sonic rounds like the ones made from CCI that work wonderfully. Self defense .22LR rounds are also made that increase the reliability and penetration, something that bulk .22LR ammo is known to lack. After-market parts can increase your reliability even more from companies like Tandemkross.

If you study history, it is full of examples of the deadliness of the .22LR. The Israelis used them as sniper rifles to quell leaders during riots. They thought that shooting them in the leg would make them run away and discourage them from participating. Well the government ended up canning the project because they found out they were just straight up killing people accidentally. Rounds would either tumble and bounce in their body, or they would miss and hit their genitals. There are numerous stories you can read of women using the .22 to kill charging bears and other predators with headshots. Poachers use .22 rifles to kill big game such as deer as well with head shots. Our own US special forces have used .22 rifles to assassinate targets or as sentry removal. Anyone who laughs at the humble .22 is ignorant to how truly versatile this round is.

I hope this has gotten your “noggin’ joggin'". I can’t cover everything in this article. You need to think about your situation and plan accordingly. Start going out on walks in nature, camping and getting food from the wild. Get comfortable walking in the dark in the woods. Be comfortable being alone in the woods. Shoot guns, or whatever weapons you have access to. Be like what Bruce Lee said, and “be like water”. Be adaptable, always learning, and growing stronger. This, combined with a healthy prayer and Bible routine will ensure your success.

Foraging with Christian Caveman #2

With fall and winter are around the corner, now is the perfect time for everyone to begin studying for next years spring and summer harvest. Foraging is a fun past time for myself, as you turn the entire world into a never ending treasure hunt. No matter where you are at, whether in the city, parks, neighborhoods or the desolate forests, you should always be looking and trying to identify plants to eat. Add on knowledge of animal sign and game trails, and you will have loads of fun just walking around and identifying food no matter where you go. Envision yourself as a scout for your tribe(family), looking for resources everywhere. Their survival depends upon you.

Do you know anyone who has this mindset? I don’t! But its one you need to adopt now. Food is going to get real scarce in the coming years, and you need to start getting in this survival mindset now. Because once things get bad (and crises tend to escalate very quickly if you study history), you will be in too much shock to learn then. You need these skills ingrained in you.

The best thing about foraged greens is that they are healthier than any greens you can buy at a store, and they don’t have pesticides sprayed over them that gives you cancer. Just make sure you pick in areas that aren’t exposed to roads or where a lot of humans tread. Places like golf courses and some parks may or may not spray certain areas to keep the weeds down. Use your brain, critically think and use common sense. Treat all of this as life-or-death training. Because it is.

With this foraging mini-series, I will periodically write about various plants, mushrooms, and other edibles that you can find in the United States. If you live in other parts of the world, you are going to have to take the initiative and learn local plants yourself. Foraging in itself is local, and while reading and watching videos is a fantastic way to learn, you need to go out and find out what you actually have around you. For someone just getting into foraging, you should focus on easy to identify plants that are everywhere. My plan with this series is to introduce plants to get people motivated to do a bit of research and look for them in their day to day life. Foraging takes time to study and learn. You need to start now.

Most of the plants I am going to list today are best picked young and green. You can still eat them when they are older, but they will be bitter. Cooking them and changing out the water once or twice can eliminate the bitter aftertaste. Keep in mind that bitter foods actually have a positive reaction in your body. When you eat bitter plants, it makes your liver purge itself, improves digestion, increase blood circulation, stimulate release of digestive juices in the pancreas, and much more.

You also want to try these foods out now to make sure you don’t have some food allergy or other reaction. If you try out a plant when you are on the run from the satanic LGBTQ+ androids and find out you have an allergy, that could be game over for you. When you first try a plant, eat a tiny amount, see what happens, and then proceed to eat more. Look up the US army foraging test. I don’t espouse using this test for plants you have no idea what they are as that is extremely dangerous, but use it for plants you have positively identified.

  • Plantain: This stuff is everywhere! Everyone should know this plant for emergencies. Not only can you eat it as a green, its medicinal. You can chew it and put it on bee stings to stop the sting, and also use it on cuts as an antiseptic. It helps with inflammation and has other medicinal properties. Its a little bitter, but you can cook it and add it to soups. Its very healthy for you. It has vitamin A, C and K.
  • Dandelions: Yes. You can eat those yellow flowered weeds you see everywhere you go. They are bitter, but you can cook them to lessen the taste. You can also make fritters out of the flowers. Has high levels of vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, and protein.
  • Curly Dock: Another common green that is everywhere. It has high oxalic acid, so its best to cook it and change the water once or twice to get rid to get rid of the flavor. It is very healthy for you . It has vitamin C, A, iron and protein.
  • Prickly Lettuce: Another common, bitter green. Cook it to break down the spines. When its a young rosette(first year stage for perennial(2 year life span) type plants) you can eat it raw, older you will need to cook it. Has vitamin A, B and minerals.
  • Stinging Nettle/Wood Nettle: I put both sub species together here. Wood Nettle is my favorite green to eat that I have tried so far. These plants are VERY healthy. It is anti-proliferative, anti- inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, anti infectious, hypotensive and anti-ulcer. Even healthier than the greens I have listed above. Make sure to cook it as they have stings that hurt, so when picking them it would be best if you use gloves and some scissors. It is delicious when cooked with butter. Nothing else tastes like it in the grocery store.
  • Purslane: Delicious and found everywhere. It is classified as succulent, which means its juicy and fleshy. You can blend these into a shake, eat them raw, put them in a salad or pot. Good source of thiamine, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin A, vitamin c, riboflavin, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper and manganese. Has carbs, fats and protein.
  • Acorns: I saved this type of food for last. They are normally harvested in the fall, which means this is a good chance for all you remnants to go out looking for these. Unfortunately for the greens listed above, while they provide great medicinal and nutrition benefits, they don’t provide much calories. Calories and fat are key nutritional factors that hunter-gatherers typically have a hard time getting enough of. Acorns, roots and nuts are the main plant food that Native Americans went for calories, in addition to hunting and trapping their meat. You can leach the tannin in the acorns either with a hot or cold leach with water, and make flour out of the nut meat. I highly recommend getting Same Thayers Foragers Harvest books, in addition to his uniquely exceptional field manual. It details the process in processing acorns and turning them into flour. You can find videos online detailing this, but it is vital to have offline sources of information.

There you go! I gave you a few plants to study. Now learn as much as you can about them. Look up videos. Watch people talk about them, and all the possible uses. In the future I will release more articles talking about wild edibles you can eat. The more plants you know how to eat, the less satan has control over you in the grocery stores. Think of this as returning to the days of Adam and Eve, reclaiming the knowledge that allowed us to simply live with God in His garden. I never thought I would have fun learning plants, but once you begin foraging, it becomes addictive. I suspect that video games, especially with RPGS that make you collect items and such, play off this psychological trait that God put into us humans. You will see what I mean once you begin.

God bless you all,

Caveman
