Spiritual Sores, Satanism, & Sacrifice - Addressing Hidden Sin

This post will investigate a hidden sin of many Christians. Are you practicing Satanism and you do not even know it? Let's examine this question honestly.

Introduction - Spiritual Sores

The other day, I wrote about the coming physical sores, but the truth is, many have spiritual sores already and don't even know it. This post was inspired by a dream sent to me by a brother in Christ, Jake, regarding these spiritual sores. In this dream, Jesus Christ revealed to him that many have spiritual sores and are not even aware of it, and he was told to share the dream with me. After much prayer, Jesus Christ revealed the cause of many of these sores, which will be examined in this post.

First of all, many readers are practicing Satanism and they do not even know it. Yes, I know this is a bold claim, but I need to get your attention. Yes, even those who say, “But I love Jesus” - you may be practicing components of Satanism, and I am here to explain how.

Before I do, I must remind readers that when I write I must reflect on myself as much as I want readers to reflect. I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be, and it says that the Two Witnesses are full of repentance and mourning. Two witnesses or not, we should all be repenting and mourning in these end times.

In an effort to encourage readers to repent, as well, I want to first explain how readers may be practicing Satanism without even realizing it, and we need to go back to Lucifer to understand.

Lucifer and Self

While most associate Satan, formerly known as Lucifer, with sin, and that is certainly true, the even larger truth about him is that he is obsessed with himself. That is why he fell from Heaven. He had pride in himself, and he could not see beyond himself. This love of self is the form of pride Satan was practicing when he fell, and it is now an invasive part of the times we live in; after all, self-love is promoted and amplified all around us. In a moment, we will talk about appropriate self-love, but this post is about excessive self-love.

When people practice excessive self-love, they are actually worshipping themselves. People think Satanism is all about overt evil, but the truth is, it can be subtle. Satanism can simply be about worshipping one's self - loving oneself more than God - hence the great promotion of loving oneself in modern Babylon:

Before you say, "I don't worship myself", please read this whole post. The honest truth is that this post calls everyone to examine whether or not there are elements in their lives that may indicate self-worship - it is for me and everyone reading.

Of course, it’s easy to look at all the obvious signs of self-worship today. Selfies, social media, and vanity in both men and women are quite clear and obvious in Babylon. For me personally, those are all things I have struggled with and written about in my personal testimonies with brutal honesty (and more are coming). While I believe I have overcome these things, I am not perfect. This post is a great way to keep myself in check, and hopefully, readers will examine themselves, too.

However, this self-love is not the only type of self-worship Jesus wants us to think about. In fact, He believes many readers are missing the fact that they are participating in self-worship and not even realizing it. So, instead of pointing to the obvious signs of self-worship, which are evident all around us, I wanted readers to examine the more subtle signs of self-worship, so let's begin:

1) Obsessive thoughts: When you allow obsessive thoughts to rule over your mind, this is a form of self-worship. For example, let’s say you cannot stop obsessing over a presentation you did or something you said to someone the other day. Maybe you prayed after the fact, but you still keep going back to anxious thoughts of not doing it well enough, and you enter into a cycle of anxiety. This can be a form of self-worship. You start placing too much importance on your own thoughts, your own image, and on your own self, when Jesus clearly says not to give into anxious thoughts.

This is not about just having a little worry and praying. This is about giving into thoughts that take over your mind. You think about them day and night, and they will not leave. You have no peace due to these obsessive thoughts, as they have now clouded your bodily temple.

Psychology tries to tell people that all obsessive thoughts are part of a mental disorder, but I actually think on a larger level they stem from a spiritual disorder. This spiritual disorder is viewing your own thoughts as more important than anything - putting them above God, and also, not trusting in God. When He says do not be anxious, He means it!

Look, I’m not disagreeing with psychology fully, but I am giving readers a more spiritual worldview. I am not a doctor nor am I giving medical advice. I am giving spiritual advice, and this will often go against the world. It will be hard for the world to understand. I am not discounting "normal" methods of addressing obsessive thoughts, but do they even work? Society seems sicker, more anxious than ever, and honestly, it seems like everyone is just drugged up. So, I am here trying to give readers an alternative method. Again, I am not a doctor and I am not responsible for anyone's stupidity.

In some ways, I am anti-psychiatry, which may make people angry. Psychiatry has its purpose, but its largest problem is that it is completely godless. In other words, psychiatry is not the savior - Jesus Christ is, and in my next thesis about conformity, I will address this. Let’s move on to one part of my testimony to exemplify overcoming obsessive thoughts:

Witness 2, Testimony 1: I used to have a skin-picking disorder. This is because I was obsessed with myself! I was obsessed with my own appearance, and my own thoughts about my appearance. It wasn’t just about what I looked like though. There was some type of self-worship going on, and it was really strange. I would stare in the mirror for hours and pick my skin. It was due to anxiety, and I was seeking relief by my own obsessive thinking - not through God.

Luckily, I overcame the disorder. I have rules now about how long I can look in the mirror, and I have strict rules about touching my own skin. Readers, please do not judge my honest testimonies. The point of this testimony is that my obsessive skin picking and thoughts about it was rooted in some type of obsession over myself that I had to overcome. One day I thought, "This is stupid. There are more important things to life." And I stopped. This was before I was Christian, but I know Jesus has always been helping me!

When you have obsessive thoughts or tendencies, you are giving power to those things. You are actually worshipping those things, and when the thoughts are always about yourself, that becomes self-worship. It is weird that in disorders like OCD, they even call the obsessive tendencies "rituals", as if something is being worshipped. Obsessive thoughts can be caused by demonic forces, too, and this is complex, but this post is just general advice for readers. Here is a quick prayer:

  • “Dear Lord, please help me remove my obsessive thoughts and take refuge and peace in you in Jesus’s name.”

This post is not meant to 100% solve every problem that every reader has. Rather, it is for readers to examine, "Do I have obsessive thoughts, and is this a form of self-worship?" No, not all obsessive thoughts are self-worship, but some are. Pray and discern.

2) Your Daily Life and Routine: People have become their own gods through their daily routines. From the moment they wake up to the moment they go to sleep, all they think or even pray about is themselves, and they are obsessed with their daily routines.

In fact, Jesus is telling me this is the most important one for readers to recognize. He says people treat themselves as gods in their day to day lives. They are obsessed with the thoughts of the things they need to get done, and they rarely consider others in their perspectives throughout the day. Many also spend way too much time online, in a bubble, without any interaction with others. They refuse to fellowship with others, and say, “I don’t go to church because it is too evil”, yet they do nothing to compensate for that. They refuse to fellowship with anyone, and this becomes self-worship. If you do not ever involve anyone in your worship, then you are essentially participating in a form of self-worship. The Bible says do not forsake fellowship, and if you need help with that, contact us.

Others become obsessed with cleaning, perfection in the home, and perfection at work or school. They spend so much time on those things because they are their own gods. They may pray but the prayers are simple and weak. Their prayers are often self-centered and focused on worldly things - not spiritual matters.

Then there are those obsessed with their food, dieting, and health. They spend so much time on health that they forget that true health comes first spiritually.

I want to remind readers of everything in moderation, even moderation. We are to take care of our health, but not to be obsessed with it. We are to take care of our homes, but not demand perfection. We may need to work, but it shouldn't become an idol. Again, this is the narrow path that very few mind.

Witness 2, Testimony 2****: I used to deeply idolize my work because I was really just idolizing myself. The better I did at work, the more I was obsessed with myself. Everything I did at work, I had to present as perfection, when I was spiritually dying on the inside. Now, I give myself much more grace with work and home. I do not have to be perfect at work, and I do not have to be perfect at home. Sometimes things get messy. Sometimes I’m tired and make mistakes. It’s okay for me, and it is okay for you, too, which leads to my next point about perfectionism. For more about overcoming idolatry, see my testimony here. The point is that I made myself my own god through my success at work. It was a form of self-worship that I had to overcome. I still try my best at work, but it no longer defines me.

Perfectionism in the world - not the Lord. Some readers, including my past self, want to be perfect but in the wrong way. Yes, Jesus says, “Be perfect”, but He is not talking about being perfect at your job or in your appearance. He is talking about being spiritually perfect.

The self-worship many are participating in is trying to be perfect for the world. Many women reading this are obsessed with their appearances and working out all the time for the “perfect” body. Many men are obsessed with how others perceive them and being perfect in perception to those around them. Many are just consumed by what the world thinks of them in general.

We are not called to even worry about this world, or our lives in it. In fact, this post is giving permission for everyone, including myself, to relax about the expectations of the world. First, we will never fully meet them. Secondly, we all have to worry about the expectations of Jesus Christ, which are not of this world.

Witness 2, Testimony 3****: I was a former perfectionist because of my own insecurities. I wanted to prove to the world that I was good enough, but it was never good enough, as I have written here. Now I give myself more grace in all I do. This is not an excuse for sloppy work. For example, sometimes I have errors in my posts. Because of the busyness of my life for God's work, I really cannot do any more than I already do. If I have an error in my posts, I just allow it because I cannot be perfect, even after proofreading my work 30 times. So, should I strive for perfection in my posts or hope readers will have grace?

Unfortunately, readers do not always have grace for me and expect perfection. Witness 1 said, “No paycheck, no protest!” Haha. Right?

The point is that I will never be perfect enough for the standards of this world, and neither will readers. Luckily, we have God's grace to wash away our imperfections!

Self-Analysis and Self-Centeredness: Some readers are focusing on themselves all day. They even make problems larger around them because of how focused they are on themselves. The more you follow Jesus Christ, and start serving others, the less time you will have to think about yourself! As a Christian, if you have so much time to think about yourself all day, you may not be doing it right.

Truly, a person can get too deep into their own minds. They think about themselves all day, and they are constantly thinking about others in relation to themselves - not in relation to Jesus. They think things like, “This person should be more like me!” instead of, “How can I help this person?

The best example of self-centeredness I can show is how many Christians are just in a bubble. They sit online all day, and they rarely reach out to or help anyone.

This may be a little harsh, but when people email us, we almost never get asked how we are or if we need any help. While we don't mind helping anyone, this is just an example of how people's thoughts are mostly centered on themselves. This is not a criticism, but maybe it is something readers do not consider. Please note, I am not mad or anything like that - just giving perspective. Also, I know there are some people who really care about us, and this is not about you. Rather, did you ever wonder, how can I help these two witnesses?

More than that, the questions readers can ask themselves are: Do I help anyone at all during the day? Do I even try to? Do I even think of anyone? Do I pray for others? When was the last time I helped someone? When is the last time I sacrificed something?

Remember, we may all be in different parts of the spectrum with this concept of sacrifice. Something is better than nothing, and the little things matter to God, too!

Witness 2, Testimony 4: Jesus has put me on a mission to love people more. When I’m at work, he has me send nice messages to people, even if I'm uncomfortable. When I go out and about, He has me go out of my way to help people. He is working on a mission with me to get me to love people as much as possible.

This is hard. This is not easy, but I want to ask readers if they will join me in the mission.

If we want to get rid of self-worship, we need to start thinking of others throughout the day. Start your day with this prayer or pray it now:

  • Lord Jesus Christ, help me love how you love.

If you pray that, it will happen. You will find yourself changing and transforming. Things will be different.

I am not at the stage of perfect love of Jesus, and I’m not sure if I can ever be perfect. However, I am not going to give up, and every day, I am working on efforts to be less self-absorbed.

We are not gods, and our lives are not the center of the universe. If we put Jesus Christ first, we can easily abolish self-worship.

A Warning Against Egolessness

This post is not a call to eliminate the ego, like some religions proclaim, such as Buddhism. As a former Buddhist, I became nihilistic due to these thoughts, and I realized the ego was not evil or useless. I want to show readers the image I made for this post again:

We can still have an "I" or identity, but it must be in Christ! Does the image make more sense now? Also, maybe the I should be a little smaller, but I was trying to get people to pay attention to it.

In Christianity, we are to use our egos for good and not let them overpower us. I asked Jesus, “Well, am I allowed to post a picture or feel good about myself?” Of course! We are allowed to have a personality, interests, and hobbies. I do not want any reader to take this message as saying that one should completely abolish one's sense of self.

However, we have to put ourselves in check. We have to ask, “Am I living for Jesus Christ?” The more we live for Him, the more that ego is tamed. We want our egos to align with Jesus Christ and His will for us. When we make serving others a daily part of our lives, it becomes more difficult to practice self-worship, which is really just Satanism in disguise.

The truth is this: We all have work to do in this area, even Witness 1 and me. Honestly, we are using our lives as a way for people to reflect on their own lives. This is a difficult post because nobody wants to believe they practice any form of self-worship, but Jesus is saying, it is the "secret sin" of most reading. We all have work to do in this area - every human alive.

So, in a sense this post is meant to make people reflect but also to warn them. I would like to end with an important warning.

Coming Sores

In a previous post, I wrote that some of the unvaccinated will get sores, too, but why?

The worship of the image of the beast is not just about our screens, but the reflection of our faces in those screens.

Those unrepentant who took the mark will get those sores, yes, but so will those who worship his image - maybe even if they did not get the vaccine.

If Satan's image is one of selfishness and self-love, anyone who follows that will then be worshiping that image. Don't you see?

The reflection of the image of the beast is one of self-love, self-worship, self-centeredness, and self-importance.

Those who worship themselves are carrying spiritual sores that will manifest soon, if they do not repent - vaccinated or not.

The spiritual sores are caused by an obsession with oneself. There are many reading this blog who wake up, thinking about themselves all day, go to bed, and do the same thing the next day. That is not Christianity - that is Satanism - as harsh as that sounds. Satanism is essentially just a form of self-worship. It is true love for oneself - not Jesus Christ.

Remember, this is not a call for communism or any false ideologies. That is why I posted the image above. The "I" still matters. We must still care about and love ourselves and our families/those we care about, but it should always be in perfect balance with Jesus Christ.

Jesus is telling readers that the self-love, the obsession with the routine and work, and the self-admiration has gone too far. He says one form of self-love is people believing they have no sin - that they have no ways to improve. This is a lie from Satan.

Another form of self-love is thinking you are a victim - thinking your problems are everyone else's fault.

Here is a brutal truth. When I realized almost all of my problems were my fault, I finally took responsibility and changed.

Really, the truth is - the majority of problems in our lives (maybe 85%) are caused by sin. The rest are likely from worldly factors that we have no control over, but praying and following Jesus Christ will solve them all in a spiritual sense.

So, even if you are not full-blown into self-worship, you may still have elements you need to work on, and that is the point of the post.

Today, I gave a presentation at work, and I started thinking somewhat obsessively if I did good enough. Then, I realized that I did the best I could, and that was enough. Then I prayed, and I leave it all up to Jesus Christ. I put the obsessive thoughts in their place.

Even with this blog, I have to go to bed eventually. Surely, there are things I missed or didn't cover, but I pray the Holy Spirit fills in the gaps in Jesus's name. I can only do so much, and I leave it up to readers to pray about this post.

So, to end, ask Jesus in prayer,

  • "Lord Jesus Christ, if I have practiced any form of self-worship, please forgive me. Please show me how to worship you and serve others in your holy name. Please reveal to me how to do better in Jesus's name."

He will show you. In order to counter self-worship, here are some things you can do:

  • Pray for others - not just yourself.
  • Make an effort to find something kind for someone each day. You can say something nice, smile at someone, or help someone out in need.
  • Give to charity. We run a worldwide ministry and there are endless amounts of people to help.
  • Give yourself permission to be imperfect in the world, and strive for perfection in the Lord.
  • Read Scripture about Jesus's life. Start with Matthew [Note from Witness 1: I reccomend starting with John, as the Christology and Soteriology is more fleshed out than the others, Historians hate this one simple trick]. Read the gospels again and again and again. Jesus always reminds us how to love others.
  • Find fellowship. If you don't know where, reach out to us.
  • Get off the internet sometimes. It can make people crazy. Go outside, pray, and do something different.
  • Fast for someone. You are allowed to do an intercessory fast. It's very rewarding, and in fact, we will be calling a fast next week. I will write more about that by the end of the week. Witness 1 and I both did intercessory fasts for a family member of one of our great readers this week.

I am sure there are more ideas. The best way to stop worshipping oneself is to start thinking of others.

This post is not meant to be brutal, judgmental, or harsh. We all have work to do, and the first step is acknowledging where we might have flaws, which takes humility:

  • Colossians 3: 12: Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

In the end, how we treat others and what we did for others is how we will be judged.

When you start your day, ask yourself, what can I do for someone else today, and everything will change.

The time is short. Even if you are not sinning, you may simply have a secret sin of being too obsessed with yourself. Jesus is calling this out, and if you say, "Surely this is not me!" - you might want to think again.

Today, I ask readers to align your "I" back into Christ. I ask readers to align your will with Jesus Christ, or to ask Him to help you do so.

I pray this post helps someone in Jesus's holy name!

Remember, don't be like this guy:

Have a good evening, or morning!

- Witness 2

Prayer from Koda:

Father in Heaven,

Please open the eyes of all on this Earth. Open them so they may see the truth, so they may know You are the Lord our God. Open their eyes so they may see the errors of their ways so they may know the gravity of our situation. Open their eyes and hearts and ears to the Word of the Lord! Put into their hearts to repent! May they know the consequences of their actions! May they know the damage done! Please plant the seeds in their heart and pour your spirit over them! Allow them the chance to repent. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ on all of our eyes, ears, and hearts! When we stand before You at Your great throne, please have mercy on us. We are all sinners, not one of us is good, but You are good. Please forgive us and have mercy on us. Have mercy on even Your enemies. Please put plant the seeds even in their hearts. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty who was, and is, and is to come!

I say these things in the holy name of thy son Jesus Christ. Amen.
