Psychological Proof of the End Times: Cold-Hearted "Christians"

This post will be an examination of the psychological indicators of the end times that many are over-looking. As many are looking to world events for the signs of the end, and we do not dismiss these, I am examining the hearts of many who profess the name of Jesus Christ. In Babylon, specifically, these hearts have grown cold.

Introduction: The Cold-Hearted "Christian"

When I was going to church in 2017, I remember a brother in Christ was invited to speak to the group.

This was a rarity, as the pastor almost never let anyone speak to the group, so I was intrigued.

He was very nervous, and one could tell he had deeply prepared his presentation. He had an item from home (a wreath or something), and he was talking about the love of Christ and how Jesus change his life. For all intents and purposes, it was a simple presentation, very child-like. I found it endearing.

The other "Christians" at the meeting were not only laughing as he presented, but afterwards, they were all mocking him behind his back. They told me he would never be invited up again. As a baby Christian, I was shocked.

I do understand that it may have not been the best presentation ever given, but he put his heart into it, and he was not a bad speaker. Honestly, I would say his presentation was like that from the heart of a child, and Jesus has called us to be like children.

To this day, I think about the man, who was very kind. If the Christians were truly loving in that congregration, they would not have mocked him behind his back, which is very cruel. At the very least, they would have encouraged him on what he did well, and perhaps, provided some loving pointers for the next meeting.

Still, there was nothing inherently wrong with his presentation. Not everything has to be long, droning, and full of hubris to be considered "good", but I find that is even what some readers want at times. They want a list of facts and information but nothing with heart.

I want the heart of Christianity, and I believe this event I witnessed was an indicator of the degradation of the Chreistian hart since then. It is now 2024, and I am not sure how anyone can profess the name of Christ and think to be unnecessarily cruel or critical of others, which leads to my next point.

The Babylonian Spirit of Critique

As noted above, most are focused on the events of the world for the end times signs, but all I have to do is look to the people that profess to be Christians, and I know it is the end. We only need to remind ourselves of 2 Timothy 3 to understand that these will terrible times - not just because of physical events but also because of the darkness in people's hearts.

One of the worst parts about running this site is the emails. Now do not take this the wrong way. We value all of the friends we have made, and if we talk to you regularly, this is likely not about you. This is not about most reading. So, do not worry.

We leave the emails open because we know there are people to help. However, I dread opening my inbox in the morning. I always wonder, "What's someone going to criticize about me this morning?"

Unlike men, I am a woman and naturally sensitive. Though I have learned to navigate the internet like a man, it clearly is not enjoyable. It is brutal, it is not fun, and I believe it is a reflection of the hearts of men. 4chan culture, for example, is not anything mysterious. It is what people really think and feel when they are not censored. There is a lot of coldness and brutality, and clearly, they have manipulated the boards to ensure that love is hard to find. This is just a reflection of modern society and the world - nothing more.

Anyway, one thing I noticed about Chrisitians, paritcularly from the United States (and not as much from other parts of the world), is how deeply critical they are. In our real life ministry, though people can be annoying, they are very kind. Generally speaking, they send me upifting messages, encouragement, and love. It is lovely! I even noticed people from other continents are generally kinder. When we get emails from these parts of the world, they are just coated with love. To note, I am not saying there are not evil people in other parts of the world, and these are just generalizations based on my experiences.

When I get emails from many in America, they are harsh. They are critical. They are sometimes even cruel.

They are always nitpicking and looking for something wrong. They have a overly-critical spirit.

Again, I am generalizing here, and I am not saying if you are from America this message is directed to you. Please do not take it that way, as we have some amazing American readers, and we love you.

Anyway, when reflecting upon this spirit, I am going to call it the "Spirit of Critique." It was what I witnessed in the church in 2017, and it is what I see more than ever before today, especially in America, though I am sure it is in other parts of Babylon, too. I would love to hear your stories!

I talked to my friend about this spirit, and he had a great thought, explaining that it is a the spirit of death. Instead of speaking words of life over people, there is something in them that needs to denigrate and destroy.

Remember, our words are extremely powerful:

Proverbs 18:21: The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. Our words have the power to build people up and give them life or tear people down and bring them death. The words we speak can inspire and encourage others while, in the same sentence, deflate and discourage.

When we speak to people, we have control on whether to build them up or bring them down. There's really not much in between. We encourage life or death.

Don't get me wrong - there is a time and place for critique, but it has to be done correctly as a Christian. It should always be done with love, and one should be aware of an "overly critical spirit":

There is a significant difference between helping someone improve and having a critical spirit. A critical spirit is never pleased. A critical spirit expects and finds disappointment wherever it looks. It is the opposite of 1 Corinthians 13: a critical spirit arrogantly judges, is easily provoked, accounts for every wrong, and never carries any hope of being pleased. Such an attitude damages the critiqued as well as the critic.
Biblical criticism is helpful, loving, and based on truth. Correction is to be gentle. It comes from love, not from a sour personality. Galatians 5:22-23 says the Spirit wants to produce in us love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If criticism cannot be expressed in keeping with the fruit of the Spirit, it’s better left unsaid.

So, it's a fine line, and when in doubt, truly pray, "What would Jesus Christ do?"

We must follow the golden rule, to treat others the way we want to be treated and love others as ourselves. Before we critique, we need to decide if that is what and how we would want things done to us.

Just to note, I try to operate in a spirit of forgiveness. Even when people have sent us rude emails, I never hold on to it. I let it go, and I move on.

Still, this is not just about emails or my personal experience. This is about something deeper in the Babylonian church.

There is an evil spirit of critique and mockery that has taken over, and this is not just amongst Christians. However, Christians are doing absolutely nothing to stop it - they are allowing it and even promoting it themselves.

Witness 1 did a good job of explaining that though we should not condone sin, we also should not participate in mockery of others, such as trans people. This is an evil spirit, and it really is not what Jesus Christ would do.

The false light right "Christians" love posting videos of people and making fun of their weaknesses. It honestly breaks my heart. I get it - sometimes it is funny, and I have had my laughs, but remember many of these people are...people, and some are even possessed by demons.

No, we should NEVER promote or glorify sin. However, by constantly posting these images and videos, we are giving it power. If we stopped paying attention, how much of its power would die? Probably more than you think.

Anyway, the point of this section is to remind everyone, including myself, to put ourselves in check. Even with Witness 1, I have to be careful as his wife to not be overly critical of him. He is actually a really wonderful husband, and sometimes I am too hard on him. I wanted to share with readers how he treats me like a princess (someone recently emailed me that I am not a princess, lol).

If this makes readers feel uncomfortable, just remember it is rare to see people profess true, deep love for each other these days. So, I want to showcase my true love for Witness 1 and conquer that spirit of critique. He once wrote a very kind message to me, and I have yet to return the favor, so here we go. Mine will be less eloquent though:

1) He does not watch porn. That means the world to me. He never gives attention to other women, even those dressed in provocative ways. I put this as number one because women are always lying about not being jealous and how great it is that their men watch porn. That is a lie straight from hell.
2) He supports this work, which to the world, appears crazy.
3) He always notices things about my appearance in a positive way and ensures I feel beautiful.
4) He is an amazing musician. You can tell him any song and he can learn it in about a minute. He does not talk about this, but I hope to share it with the world one day.
5) He is obviously extremely intelligent, and I think one of the smartest men on the planet.
6) He is my body guard. I don't know how else to word it.
7) He has classic good looks.
8) He has a great sense of humor.
9) He is kind-hearted and peaceful.
10) He is my soul mate.

So, I repent to the Lord Jesus Christ for the times I have been overly critical of Witness 1, and I express this so that readers can possibly repent about the times they have been overly critical of those whom they love the most.

Isn't that how it works sometimes? We often are not the nicest to those closest to us.

Again, this is not about saying we can never ask someone to improve or be better. It's, rather, about how we approach it, if it is done with love, and if it is even necessary.

This leads to my final point.

Grace and Mercy

In this world, everyone wants grace and mercy for themselves, but when they have an opportunity to give it to someone else, they do not.

On Judgment Day, if we want Jesus Christ to have grace and mercy upon us, we must first have it on others. We must operate in mercy.

As the world grows more cold and evil, there is one way to counter it.

The other day at work, during a presentation, I suggested that we should all say "hi" to each other more. I feel like people were slightly annoyed, but since that presentation, everyone has been saying "hi" to each other, and the environment has been a little more inviting. It is like that little word of light actually did lighten up the workplace. To note, I did not say this in a critical way at all - I was kind and explained why I thought so.

As we operate with people around the world, we must have grace and mercy upon them, but we must also model how we want the world to be. If we want people to be kinder, we need to be kinder. If we want Christians to be better, we need to better.

It is not foolishness to write this. Little things are big things to God, and everything we do, say, and even think is recorded by angels. Right now, angels are recording you read this, and they are recording me write this. They are recording our thoughts as we do so. This is part of the books which each person has - our books will be opened on Judgment Day.

So, be the light. Your light is powerful, and honestly, when you have that full light of Jesus Christ, every single person around you can sense it.

You cannot hide this light if it is real. You cannot fake it. It is true light, and it cannot be covered.

So, that is how I know it is the end times. I do not see the light in the Christians. They are mean, cold-hearted, brutal, and overly critical. They often tell you how much Jesus loves them, but they have no love in their hearts for others. They are not Christians at all. They are hypocrites.

Perhaps those words are harsh, but they are true. We all must reflect upon if we are true Christians are not each and every single day. When we fall short, we must repent.

In many ways, many Christians are helping Satan and they do not even know it. This was a great sermon that I suggest you all watch in the background as you are going about your day:

He speaks of the fact that when you are truly Christian, your very presence may condemn those pretending to be Christians. Their demons will come out, and they will attack and accuse you. He says, however, this will not ultimately harm or hurt the true Christian.

There is more to it, but let us move on.

Conclusion

While it is the end times, and we cannot change that, we can still destroy Satan and his demons by actually acting like Jesus Christ. We can be kind, encouraging, helpful, peaceful, and so on. We should focus on manifesting the fruits of the Holy Spirit, and we should strive for righteous anger and judgment.

This is not natural to our flesh. The flesh is always against the spirit. Our flesh wants to hurt others, to be selfish, to sin, and to manifest death.

We must fight against this flesh and counter it with a spirit of light - The Holy Spirit. When we are kind, even to our enemies, it is like "heaping fiery coals on their heads."

Every moment is an opportunity to choose love.

The other day, a sister in Christ from Africa messaged me. She is deeply poor, but she told me every day she walks across an abandoned child and her heart aches. She asked me what to do because she was too poor to take care of her.

I said, "Well, take the child in, and we will be her mother."

She chose to name the child after me, and I found it heartwarming. I don't share this to brag, but it was just sweet.

Why do I include this story? Well, the world has abandoned most, especially children like this. The cold-hearted "Christians" have forgotten the true suffering of many. They say, "Who cares about the Africans? There is so much suffering - what can we do?"

I say, "Let's help one another one step at a time."

No, I won't save everyone in Africa, and that isn't my plan! But today, we have saved one child through Jesus Christ, and doesn't this child mean something to Jesus Christ? Or do you think this child doesn't matter because of their race? Is that how Christ would operate? No.

We are in the end times, and there is much to be overwhelmed about. However, what we can first change is ourselves. Then, we can shine the light on others.

We must remove the darkness in ourselves first. That is step 1. Then, when this darkness is gone, there is no stopping what can be done in Christ.
