Prophecy Update & "Seek Righteousness First"
We have started Romans 1 today, and we will be on Romans 2 tomorrow (8/6/24). First, we go into a prophecy update about Iran, sickness, and the economy. Then, this post will discuss why one must seek righteousness first, as well as connections to faith, holiness, and godliness. I want to congratulate Kate for her beautiful newborn. Welcome to the world, little one. I pray a blessing upon her baby in Jesus's name.
Introduction - The World Is on Fire
Witness 1 said this is me writing my post. Haha.
Anyone who denies that the world is ending at this point, I just do not have much to say. I believe people are too wrapped up in their comforts, and because nothing has happened to them yet, they just think it never will. I am telling you this is not true, and what is coming will affect everyone reading this blog, even those who do not believe me.
So, right now, as I have prophesied, something is about to go crazy with Iran, and they vow to it. Iran is rejecting calls to compromise, and they will retaliate. Who knows? Something may have happened by the time you are reading this post. Either way, though we do not know when it will happen. It is coming soon. I cannot set dates, but August is the month of initiation of conflict, and I have written that previously. Please, please check out my last post for more on Iran. To note, yesterday I said this:
I'm at the point where I am able to prophesy words prominent figures say, and people still don't want to believe me. It's exhausting. Thank you to those who do.
As I prophesied months ago, economic collapse is coming. Now, this will not happen over night, but we are seeing the warning signs with a global "stock market meltdown" today. With amplification of war, this will only further devastate many first world economies.
On another note, WHO is warning of a deadlier strain of Mpox, updated Covid vaccines are coming (seriously?), there is some type of Covid outbreak at the Olympics right now, and they are promoting greater fear regarding Bird Flu. This is all happening as I write this post.
Sickness and death are going to increase, war is going to amplify, and the economy is going to worsen. This is the beginning of the great tribulation, which we have been warning about for years. All of our prophecies are coming to be.
So, then, what do we do? There is one answer and one answer only.
Seek First the Kingdom of God and Righteousness
Most have heard this verse about seeking the Kingdom of God and righteousness, but why should we do that and how? In my reading and study of Romans 1 (we will be on Romans 2 on 8/6/24 - please join us), these verses stood out to me:
The Righteous Shall Live by Faith
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith,[e] as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”[f]
I then watched Derek Prince's interpretation of Romans 1, and I was led to more revelation regarding faith and righteousness. I do highly recommend it if you would like to further your study on Romans 1. Derek Prince is always good:
Derek Prince and the Bible explain that one must seek righteousness first. People must thirst for it. They must crave it. The problem is that most today do not care to seek righteousness in any way, not even Christians. However, the Bible is clear that we must thirst for it - we must desire it - we must want it with all of our hearts. Those who seek righteousness will be filled.
However, one cannot seek righteousness if they do not have faith, and that is always the fundamental issue. That is why Jesus Christ always puts faith as the foundation of everything. Faith is required for righteousness. The Pharisees tried to be righteous, for example, but they had no faith, so it was meaningless to God, and therefore, not true righteousness.
Derek Prince says one cannot change this order. First, you must have faith. Then you must seek righteousness with all of your heart.
Once you do that, you can strive for holiness, and even, if possible, godliness. No, this is not about putting yourself on level with God. Rather, it is about doing works as great as or even greater than Jesus Christ, and He said this Himself:
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Notice that faith always come first. So, we have faith, then righteousness, then holiness, then godliness. Here is a visual representation I made to represent our paths as Christians. Notice I put love at the center of it all:
We cannot have faith without love. We cannot have righteousness without love. We cannot have holiness without love. We cannot have godliness without love. Love is always at the center of everything, and all the other things are meaningless without it, as Paul writes:
If I speak in the tongues [1] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
We are nothing without love. We are not Christians if we do not have love.
So, in the diagram above, faith comes when you believe. You access this "living water" through faith, and then you are on your way up the mountain. You strive toward righteousness first, by removing sin, then you work toward living a holy life to please God. Finally, you work toward the Kingdom of Heaven dwelling within you - a form of godliness.
You see, so many Christians stop at faith, but that is not what Jesus Christ was saying entirely. It all starts with faith, of course, and then you must begin your journey up the narrow path, toward Heaven itself. You must always remember, however, that love should be at the center of all you do.
So, in these dark times, it will not matter how righteous or holy we are if we are cruel to people. At the same time, we cannot access the true Kingdom if we are stuck at faith and never move beyond that. We have to use our faith to push us toward righteousness and holiness. We cannot be righteous or holy without faith or love. These things are all connected and cannot be separated, as people try to do. If you have faith, then you will seek righteousness. If you want to be righteous, you need faith.
While this message is short and sweet tonight, more is coming tomorrow. I wanted to talk about the power of a testimony, and I will share Justin's testimony tomorrow. I want to give a shout-out to Justin for his path and walk toward holiness - even though it is not easy.
Right now, they are saying the attack from Iran is imminent. I am telling you, if this happens, and it will, you will notice the change immediately and everything will be different from this point on. Trump is saying it's going to happen. He would know, after all, wouldn't he?
To note, we cannot give exact timelines. Even if things calmed down for a minute, it doesn't mean they cannot happen when we least expect. Remember, the best type of an attack is a "surprise" one - when people are not expecting it will happen or believing it will.
