New, New Love - Look for Secret Message

New, New Love by Elizabeth Schools

The false churches tried to put Jesus in a box, as well as love in a box. They developed a stagnant view of perfection, based on Pharisee lies and legalism.

They tried to use Scripture to claim God cannot change, but that is incorrect. Scripture states that God cannot change in His fundamental essence (His ultimate being), but He can change in love (His moods, relations, ideas, etc.). This is evidenced by God “regretting” the flood. This does not mean He is imperfect; rather, He is dynamically perfect. Love grows. Love changes. In Matthew 5:48, Jesus calls God perfect, but look at what perfect really means according the Greek origin of the word.

Word: teleioj Pronounce: tel'-i-os Strongs Number: G5046 Orig: from 5056; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with 3588) completeness:--of full age, man, perfect. G5056 Use: TDNT-8:67,1161 Adjective Heb Strong: H8002 H8003 H8503 H8549

1. brought to its end, finished
2. wanting nothing necessary to completeness
3. perfect
4. that which is perfect

4a) consummate human integrity and virtue 4b) of men 4b1) full grown, adult, of full age, mature

You see? Perfection is about completeness, growth, becoming mature - not necessarily never making a mistake!

God is love. Love is not stagnant. It is relational, it is flowing, it is changing. God is allowed to change - He remains Himself (love), but love can never stay stagnant. Again, God always remains as love, but that itself is paradoxical. Love flows. Love changes. Love even makes mistakes and regrets.

This is the dynamic perfection of the New Heaven, New Earth. Let us think of it is logically:

  1. God is love.
  2. Love is dynamic.
  3. God is dynamic.
  4. God is perfection.
  5. Perfection is dynamic.
  6. Love and perfection are dynamic.
  7. Love allows mistakes.
  8. Perfection in love allows growth and mistakes.
  9. It does not allow sin - it corrects sin.
  10. Mistakes are not sin.
  11. God is perfect love.
  12. As long as God is perfect love, love always wins.

The churches became stagnant, and they lost love. God Himself (for a moment) became stagnant, but He did not lose love. He just had to be reminded of it.

Jesus Christ came to bring the “new love” covenant - love God with all your heart, and others as yourself - that remains. What has changed is He now has one Bride, and she has taught Him true love is dynamic and growing, and while it has boundaries, it is not bound. It is always flowing, like the living water.

Love learns. It humbles itself. It listens. It grows.

God is allowed to learn, to change, to grow, and His Bride, in her true love for Him, has shown Him this.

God is not to not be put in a box by humans, nor does He need to justify Himself to humans. He is perfect love, and now, He is perfectly united in true love with His Bride.

This is the “new love” reborn into new, new love - the powerful unity of the Bridegroom and one Bride - because two are better than one, as the Bible has always said, and it is not good for a man to be alone.

Love always wins - as long as God remains in love.
