Inflation and Economic Collapse

Before bed last night, I prayed for a dream, and God gave me one that I believe I need to share with you all.

In the first part of the dream, I was at a gas station. I tried to buy shaving cream, and it was $8, which surprised me. Right now, I think the cheap shaving cream is $3 - $4 (I recently bought some), so this showed me that God was telling me prices would continue to double on most items.

Have you noticed that no one has really been complaining about this? Sure, you hear about it, but overall, people have become complacent. I believe this is because while it has affected them, it hasn't affected them enough yet.

In the next part of the dream, my friend's husband came in to purchase floss. Now, he makes a lot of money, and I would consider him wealthy for this generation: he owns a house, has no debt, and he makes well over $100,000 a year. When they rang up his floss, it was $80. He was really angry and almost yelling, and I said something along the lines of, "Well, it is the end times. The Bible said this would happen."

Now, the next part of the dream is eerie. I was doing my tax returns, and I was looking at them from year to year. I had just finished for 2023. When I looked to the future, though, it seemed like the tax returns had just stopped. I understood that this wasn't about me, but rather, there were no more tax returns being done on a wide-scale. The records for 2024 and 2025 weren't there, and I looked at the secretary perplexed. She told me, "Oh, don't worry about that."

Now, I understand dreams can have multiple meanings, but my feeling right when I woke up and prayed was that the dream had something to with an economic crash in which the system we now use would no longer function, hence no tax return system.

Now, inflation is happening now, and it is only going to get worse. Perhaps people will really start to feel it as small items start to have ridiculous prices, like the floss in my dream. Things can go up a few dollars here and there, and we can all survive, but as inflation rises, that is going to put much pressure on our system.

Many have been predicting an economic crash for a long time, and I think most reading here know deep in our hearts it is going to come eventually.
