Get Baptized! Holy Spirit Thoughts & Ministry Update

This post will call for readers to get baptized, discuss gossip and faith, and will update readers on the miraculous work of our ministry through the power of Jesus Christ. The image is the "anime" version of Witness 1 and Witness 2 (just for fun). This post is written by Witness 2.

Introduction - Get Baptized!

This message was actually inspired by a few brothers who read this blog who are about to get baptized, and I commend them! Hallelujah! Readers, if you are baptized, pray for the readers of this blog who are not yet baptized to get it done as soon as possible.

If you are not baptized yet, this is your message to get baptized as soon as possible, and I will give you some tips on how to do just that. Though this all may seem obvious, the Holy Spirit tells me we have many readers who are not baptized, and therefore, the Holy Spirit has not been able to fully enter them. Acts 2:38 - 41 says:

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

Without the full capacity of the Holy Spirit, it will be difficult to understand what we write. Witness 1 has written that baptism may not be necessary for salvation in instances such as death bed repentance; however, it is clear followers of Jesus Christ are called to be baptized, and we should never take chances with our salvation. No, this does not count if you were baptized as a baby because that was not by your choice. This needs to be your decision - your own free will, and baby baptism does not count.

With that being said, if you don’t know what to do, here is some advice:

Do not worry so much about the perfect church. Just go to a church that does baptisms and seems like they want to do it! There are really no perfect churches anymore, and you can always seek another church after you are baptized. For me, personally, I do not agree with all the doctrines of the church I was baptized in, but I still think it was where I should have been baptized and one of the most important moments, if not the most important moment, of my life.
You don’t have to be perfect to be baptized. Don’t say, “I’ll get baptized when I stop this sin.” That is a dangerous game, and really, once you get baptized, that is when you become a new creation and begin to fully walk with Jesus Christ and conquer your sins.

This is a short but simple message, and I hope it touches our readers in Jesus’s name. There is so much that can be said about baptism, but the internet is full of sources on that, and I’d like our blog to be more than just the “milk”. However, there are times for the milk!

Gossip and Faith

This may be some of the milk, but that’s okay. I’m not against milk, but rather, I generally crave meat. Still, every so often we need that milk to fill our systems again.

Recently I was in a situation where a person had gossipped about me, I found out, and I felt betrayed. As a woman, this is not uncommon, but this comment she made was damaging to the work I was doing. It had been a while since I found out someone had gossipped about me, and what they did was slander me. They claimed something about me that simply was not true. It really hurt me, but it served as a reminder. This woman claims to be Christian by the way, and while I forgive her, I now will not trust her.

Though the situation is resolved, and I thank God for that, it reminded me of the power of our words and the purpose of faith - but not in a way one would initially expect.

Why does Jesus require us to have faith? Why is it so important to Him?

Well, when that person gossipped about me, it reminded me that I want people to believe me - to have faith in me and my integrity. When we are in relationships ourselves, we want people to have faith in us and vice versa.

Suppose, for example, someone sent me a message that Witness 1 was cheating on me. Through my faith in him, I simply wouldn’t believe it. It would be really hard for me to shake my faith in him, and loyalty is an important part of my relationship. However, what if I believed the message? This would show my faith was not true, and when it came out that he never cheated on me, it would have harmed Witness 1 because I did not believe him.

Unfortunately, our human relationships are flawed, of course. With human relationships, we may not have unquestionable faith in anyone, and that’s to be expected. Still, if we are operating as best as we can as Christians, we hope people have faith in us - not in a worship way, but in a relationship sense.

Have you ever had someone not believe what you said? Maybe not. For me, I have some pretty unbelievable stories, and it pains me when people may not believe them. I know many people would not believe what I have to say about my life and experiences, which is why I have not written everything yet. It is painful to be truthful to someone and then they call you a liar!

Now, imagine how this applies to Jesus Christ. He is perfect. We have NO reason to doubt Him or not have faith in Him, so when we do not trust in Him - that hurts Him - more than in any other human relationship. That is because this is our relationship with God Himself.

He has never let us down and never will. Belief, or what the Bible refers to as faith, is important because it is part of a true relationship. You can’t have a relationship without some type of faith, and with Jesus Christ, we need the greatest faith of all - to believe He is our Lord and Savior and that if we trust in Him, all will work out for the best.

So, why faith? That’s a question a lot of people ask. I think the core of faith is, at least partly, about the relationship we are building with Jesus Christ. The greater our faith, the greater our relationship! The more faith we have, the more we trust in Him, and the more He can do for us.

In a human relationship, if I was constantly fighting with Witness 1 about his loyalty, even if he was blameless, this would destroy us. Good faith is at the center of our love and strong relationship.

With Jesus, He is God, and we don’t have to worry about if we can trust Him. He has shown through the Bible that He is true to His word since the beginning of time, and there is no need to doubt that His promises will be fulfilled. On a personal level, I’m sure most readers can relay a time when Jesus Christ came through for them, and we always love to hear your testimonies.

Going back to the gossip incident, this is just a reminder to readers to be careful what you say about others. Our words have power, and as a woman, I have had to completely stop talking to some women because of gossip.

This is not just our spoken words. When we even write an email, for instance, we must be careful how we say things. I cannot tell you the number of insensitive emails we get. I don’t say anything because I do have grace, but some people say cruel things and do not even realize it. Again, I’m not mad at anyone, and I try to remember people’s intent when writing. Still, let’s remember to pick and choose our words carefully, as they have power over other people’s lives. The words we say may even be used against us on Judgment Day, so repent for faulty words. We must give an account of any words we have spoken before our Lord Jesus Christ! I have made many mistakes with my language over the years, and I ask God for mercy upon me in Jesus’s name. I pray you all do the same!

Thank God! Jesus Christ has grace and mercy upon us because we need it each and every day!

Ministry Update

Finally, I wanted to give some updates on our real life ministry. We are approaching 400 members, and we have people from all over the world. We have had some more leaders rise to the occasion, and honestly, it is a ministry of the Holy Spirit! We also want to congratulate the men we have chosen as leaders for our ministry this year. You know who we are, and I pray you smile upon reading these words.

I wanted to post some testimonies from our ministry. This is not to brag, and ALL glory goes to Jesus Christ. This work would be impossible without Him. Also, we are to let our good works shine for the world, at times. Obviously, Witness 1 and I do NOT let readers know everything we are doing, and we do a lot in secret, but there are times for celebration. So, if you have supported us financially in any way, you should be celebrating, too. This is your work, as well! Anyone is welcome to donate to our cause of helping the “least of them” around the world.

Testimonies from The Two Witnesses Ministry

Please note these testimonies may be grammatically incorrect due to English as a second language for many of our members. I have edited them for clarity and replaced our real names.

Thank you so much Witness 1 and Witness 2. I was born in a family of three children. My dad died from cancer, and we were left with our mother at that time i was in high school. I was not even going to chuch. Then my life started changing because my father was the one who was providing for the family, and even getting a meal was a problem to us. I dropped out of school. I stopped going to school and tried to look for a job. My mother was paralysed, and she was not able to work. To say the truth from my heart, due to the suffering of the family, I decided to be a prostitute to feed my family. Then a pastor from this ministry [one of our leaders] was preaching and he prayed for me and told me about this ministry. Since I joined the ministry my sister Witness 2 stood firm in prayers with me. She kept helping me with food and a Bible, which makes me feel committed to read the word of God. I was delivered. This ministry helped deliver me from prostitution. I love Jesus Christ as my saviour. Thank you!
The ministry is based on the truth of Jesus Christ, John 14:1-6. Witness 1 and Witness 2 keep talking about the truth of Jesus Christ. I also believed and followed the truth of Jesus Christ and no one can change me from their teachings. I learnt how to appreciate and be thankful to the Lord. Food, animal, and bible initiatives I have received because of following the guidelines of this ministry. Praying and fasting for this ministry I am doing because I believe in the ministry's progress. I am now a leader who teaches and advises other members. I have developed the kindness I have learnt from this ministry by helping the orphans from their donations I receive. Thank you. I believe and trust Jesus Christ.
Someone recently asked me what I did to "accept the Lord." It was a tremendous joy to tell them, "Nothing." He chose me! He gave me repentance. He devastated my pride. He changed my heart so that I could believe. And it's all through this ministry I got saved, through prayer meetings, because I didn't know about God or salvation. Since I joined this ministry, my life is no longer the same. I am transformed, and I prophesy today that this is not the end of it. More testimonies are coming. Thank you to Witness 1 and Witness 2.
The life I was living was not good. I was a drunkyard man and also a thief. I did this for 5 years, but I tell you since I found this ministry my life has changed. Witness 2 is the biggest reason for my change, and she kept praying for me and encouraing me so much and she never gave up on me until I was delivered by the Grace of God. I am thankful so much to you sister Witness 2 for making me what I am now. God above all. Let's keep encouraging our leaders Witness 1 and 2 and what they are doing to transform peope.
Since I have joined this ministry, I have learnt that small acts of love have big impact and what you think is small is big to someone else, for example, the animal initiatives.
To God the creator be glorified. A special thanks goes to this ministry. This ministry has helped me have a Bible for spreading the gospel of Jesus, and I have started a farm of pigs through this ministry. Not only has it helped me but many people across the world, and it will still continue helping me much to live strong in faith by praying for my living. Long live this ministry.
All my life, I was pretending to follow Jesus Chrsist yet I was a Muslim. But since I joined this ministry, I see the true way of Jesus Christ. I didn’t have a father, and I’m happy to be one of the orphans that is thriving in this ministry. I am taking care of my weak mother, a son, and my siblings. I am so thankful we have got the word of God through this ministry. Please protect the leaders of this ministry.
There are two things this ministry has helped me with since I have joined it. 1. Being honest, kind, and patient. 2. Through this animal initiative they have taught me about self-reliance for my life. Thank you and God bless you all.
Our lives are full of testimonies. Sister Witness 2 is a kindhearted lady. One day a sister came to me. She was not Christian but Muslim. She came to my home and was so hungry and she was begging door to door. Witness 2 gave me donations that night. I remember God said you got free and you have to give free. I gave her food and milk, and now she is also in Christ! This is my great testimony. That donation changed my life forever. We are grateful to this sweet ministry.
I have learned so many things since joining this ministry. I have known how to pray for someone else, to encourage someone to grow spiritually and love each other like Jesus loves everyone.
Glory be to God. A special thanks to this ministry who has helped my orphans, spreading the gospel of Jesus, and still continues helping them much to live. Stay strong in faith by praying. Long live this ministry.
I have had spiritual growth, learned to speak in tongues, and I am a leader in this ministry. There is friendship and food available. Amen.

I learnt small things but special things in my life. I started a farm of livestock of goats through this ministry, and I know this ministry will help many people. God bless this ministry.
This ministry has helped me know the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been encouraged by this ministry to the point of being lifted when I was just about to give up. In this ministry, I have found fellowship, prayer, and companionship. My hope in the Lord is lifted through this ministry.
This ministry brightened my spiritual growth and this ministry is the reason my orphans smile. Thank you for the donations.
As I started to attend prayer meetings, God started to reveal to me more about how wrong and wretched I was, and the fire of revival started to burn in my heart. Today as I speak through this ministry, I am constantly reminded of where I started and how ignorant I was towards God. Hence, my heart really aches for those who are just like I was - apathetic, indifferent, etc. My prayer is everyone to realize how much God desires us to be - to break through that glass ceiling we have over our lives.

There we have it. There are more, of course, but I selected a variety for readers to see. These people come from many backgrounds and many cultures. Most live in deep poverty and have very little. Some are prisoners or take care of prisoners. Some are orphans or take care of orphans. Their stories are varied, and they have taught me not to complain.

Again, the way we serve these people is through Jesus Christ. Witness 1 and I are are nothing without Him. We are nothing without Jesus Christ working through the readers to support us, whether that be financially, through encouragment, or some other way.
