Faith Is a Substance - Hypostasis - The "Glue" of the Holy Spirit
This post involves a testimony from one of our readers, Rui, and some Holy Spirit thoughts from Witness 2 on faith and the Spirit, with the key word being hypostasis. I pray God helps me write this through the Holy Spirit in Jesus's name, and I thank Jake for his recent contributions to our ministry. Lord, bless all who support us in Jesus's name. Introduction - Testimony
The other day I was reading Luke 17:11 - 19, where ten men with leprosy were healed by Jesus, but only one came back to thank Him.
While we are not Jesus, we do heal a lot of people and bring many to Christ. We want to thank the one person who came back to thank us.

He gave me permission to post his testimony, and he touches on something I have been thinking about deeply - the Spirit of Truth and how it is interlinked with faith.
This morning I was thinking about "faith" as a substance. According to Hebrews 11:1 -
11:1 Now 1161 faith 4102 is 2076 5748 the substance 5287 of things hoped for 1679 5746, the evidence 1650 of things 4229 not 3756 seen 991 5746.(substance: or, ground, or, confidence)
Faith is a substance, and the word used for this is 5287, which means "hypostasis", which can be defined in many ways:
When doing a deeper dive into this word, it becomes a little more complicated, but the following passage is important. If you don't fully understand, I will break it down afterwards - that's my job! From this site:
What stands out the most here to me is that hypostasis is about "standing one's ground" or being grounded.
If you go back to the first part of this post, regarding Hebrews 11:1, faith is defined (partly) as a "strong unwavering conviction" regarding Jesus Christ, the Bible, and more.
A synonym for both faith and hypostasis is confidence, and this means that faith is "a substance of confidence" that grounds us in a different reality. Which reality? An otherworldly reality - the spiritual world through Jesus Christ.
Let me explain.
Almost everyone I see or talk to is on the fence about EVERYTHING. They have come to conclusions about nothing - they are sure of nothing. They literally know nothing, have formed no conclusions, and they sit on a fence all day long. The Bible is clear we are in a black and white battle of good and evil, but they are constantly lingering on a fence, watching everything and wanting to believe nothing and everything at the same time. They have no ground. They stand no where in their beliefs and they are easily swayed any given moment.
However, the reason why Rui changed is because of his "hypostasis." You see, it started with just a little faith. He likely asked questions like these:
- What if the Two Witnesses are telling the truth?
- What if I pray and ask Jesus Himself?
- What if I have just a little faith?
Over time, this faith snowballed and became a substance that he now stands upon - it became the glue to hold together the Holy Spirit so it could finally fully touch him. It's like the light between these trees that finally came together, and he was able to see the light of Christ - to hear Him actually. I took this picture by the way, and I dedicate it to Rui:
You see, the problem with most readers is they have not allowed their faith to become an actual substance. They have faith here and there, but it never reaches "hypostasis" or a stable way of being.
So, then, they never really see the miracles of God, and they cannot have the full Spirit of Truth.
I watched Rui for months. Even as people insulted and mocked us in the discord, he never listened. He just kept encouraging us and praying. I noticed it, and I am always watching. : ) He wasn't phased by others. He was creating his own ground in faith.
Over time, I saw a transformation in his Spirit. I saw the solid ground he was walking on, his confidence, and love, most of all. Then, he wrote the testimony posted above, and it all just came together. I made this image to visualize what I am trying to say:
So, faith starts with just a mustard seed, but if we are consistent with it, it becomes a substance, a confidence, and something that shields us like a bubble, hence becoming part of our armor of God:
So, then, the problem with most people if they just do not let their faith become a substance.
If it never becomes a substance, they can never really get in touch with the Holy Spirit because you need faith to have access to the Holy Spirit fully.
Faith is the glue of the Holy Spirit, and the more you have, the more you can operate with and hear the Holy Spirit.
God told me not to care how many people deny me - to have complete faith in who He told me I am. He told me who I am, He told me what I can do, and He told me that even people denied Him, the son of God. I have faith, 100% of this, and no one is going to shake my state of hypostasis.
The problem is that most readers are allowing people to pop their faith bubble every other second. They go on our website, nod their head, then they hang out with their worldly family members and completely forget their faith.
Witness 1 can vouch that I am in complete faith no matter who I speak to, whether it be my colleagues, his family who secretly hates me, my son, or people in the ministry. Even when they deny me, I stand firm.
Going back to the main point of this post, Rui's testimony is faith exemplified. I am not trying to embarrass him by writing this post. I want him to know how much he inspired me and now he has helped build my faith even more! Thank you, Rui. Thank you for listening to the Spirit and not the world.
Ultimately, that is what I am calling readers to do. Stop worrying what the world thinks of this website and especially me. Trust me, the world will hate us (and it does), and they will hate me even more because I am a woman. You do recall Satan's war against the woman, correct? There is actually an entire chapter about a Revelation 12 woman leading a group of people in the end times...
While you will find a million weirdos on YouTube saying it's them, they aren't doing anything. But there is one woman who is...
I will let the Spirit speak to you. In fact, while I don't mind providing evidence for our end times role (and I do), often times, I just let the Spirit do the work and speak for itself. Those with the Spirit know who we are - they have the faith, and they have built it up into their substance - hypostasis.
So, how's your hypostasis today?
If it's not looking good, you may want to work on the bubble of faith, and then, getting in touch with the Holy Spirit and away from the world.

She has the Spirit of Truth. She has the substance of faith. She is a woman of God.
So, come join us, and let your faith become something that grounds you to Jesus Christ, where you can walk in this wordily hell itself and still be with angels. That is what I am doing every day. I pray you come join us.

He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
